chapter 331 – aiko out, mei as nurse


    aiko was outside alone. her mind was a bit murky, but she was sadder about not being told than about the destruction and chase.


    she wanted to get treasures, everyone in her team knew this, but one of them knowingly sabotaged it without giving her heads up, so that she wouldn''t chase after those places.


    aiko hoped that they would share more things, so that she didn''t need to experience that chase or misunderstandings, but at the same time, she somewhat understood her grubby nature.


    she would definitely question them and ask them if she just couldn''t take a peek, or change the plan to accommodate her.


    aiko sighed, none approached her since everyone was working, especially the beasts who had their images distorted.


    ''not having a body is an issue.'' aiko narrowed her eyes. she would have to pick a skill that would allow her to bypass that or some kind of skill that would make her corporeal.


    that way even if she entered some strange places, she would still be able to affect them and get out.


    as long as the given place had a way out through the corporeal body, aiko would be able to leave that place, no matter where it would be.


    ''impossible to seal.'' aiko loved the sound of that. her mood was improving, but she would absolutely need to scold mei for that. there should be some kind of punishment too.


    ''there was... a rope... in that story. i can definitely use that.'' aiko chuckled like a devil. she will make it so that mei will not be able to forget that!


    ''there is also the issue of mei keeping most/all things to herself.'' aiko sighed. she would not be able to change that, since there would definitely be history with it.


    ''but i can gently nudge it.'' aiko smirked. nothing was impossible when it came to her restless hands!


    ''should i return now?'' aiko tilted her head. ''we should definitely talk, but i don''t want to.'' she was in a good mood and she was worried that mei would come up with some bad excuse. ''like in those stories...''


    aiko shook her head. it seems like she would get nowhere if she were to keep sitting here.


    she stood up and walked back...

    mei was hugging her knees when aiko arrived back. it seemed like both of them had things to think about, so aiko didn''t disturb her.


    she sat down near her spirit crystals, since they were nice and warm.


    ''there is not much to do for me... should i use some of those gifts on me?'' aiko tilted her head. ''but then what if i can''t get something cool? maybe i should use it later?''


    she sighed gently. she was unsure of how that gift worked, since feifei was a human and she didn''t use it on anyone else with worry that they wouldn''t get anything cool.


    aiko was lost in thoughts when someone hugged her.


    "don''t hate me... i will explore with you in the future and show you many amazing things." mei whispered gently.


    aiko didn''t say anything. she was tempted, but that was a different thing.


    "i''m sorry for not telling you about my plan. i will try to be more accommodating, but there are certain things i can''t tell you." mei spoke slowly.


    "it was a pain looking for those temples only to see them crumble." aiko said with a change of expression. "the last one almost buried me alive."


    "i''m sorry." mei tightened her hug, while resting her head on aiko''s back.


    "mhm, you are in for a scolding." aiko nodded like it was a matter of time before she executed her plan.


    mei felt warm, which was unlike her. she was quite happy that she met aiko. aiko might be chaotic and sometimes mean, but she is also overly kind to her team.


    ''that dew drop says it all.'' mei still held some apprehension towards aiko giving out so much, especially now that her body was cold.


    "m-mei?!" aiko was startled when mei completely nuzzled her.


    "i''m tired, let''s go to sleep." mei said gently. she would apologise again once her nerves calmed down.


    she didn''t want to lose aiko. the realisation that she was so attached to her struck her like lightning, so now she would have to do everything in her power to keep aiko around.


    ''weaknesses are only good when they are cute...'' mei smiled gently.


    aiko was still stuttering, but soon gave up resisting.


    it was a calm, warm night...


    she hoped that she would progress in her cultivation fast enough that it would allow her to use the [clean] spell, but that was not the case!

    she kept wiping aiko''s body until she was clean.

    mei could hear aiko''s quivering voice.


    "finally awake? i was cleaning you up, since you took a while." mei replied without a change of expression, but her completely red face betrayed her intentions.


    "are you enjoying the sight?" aiko narrowed her eyes.


    "ye- no." mei coughed awkwardly.


    "then correct my clothing!" aiko snorted at mei with a pouty expression.


    "yes, yes!" mei immediately helped aiko put her clothes back on.


    "and here i was worried that i was a pervert." aiko sighed. "i have nothing to worry about, since mei is a bigger pervert." she proclaimed like that was a fact.


    mei stiffened. "i''m not a pervert!"


    "who undressed me?" aiko narrowed her eyes.


    "that was to clean you!" mei retorted.


    "but you did enjoy it, didn''t you?" aiko looked all smug.


    "n-no?" mei’s face flushed.


    "pervert!" aiko immediately proclaimed, almost shouting.


    "shush! don''t shout!" mei immediately covered aiko''s lips to prevent her from shouting.


    aiko shamelessly licked mei''s soft hands, getting a cute eep out of her.


    "you-you-!" mei stuttered as she cleaned her wet hand. she then noticed aiko taking a deep breath.


    "no! don''t shout!" mei covered aiko''s lips again.


    aiko was smirking this whole time at mei, which unnerved her.


    "don''t shout, alright?" mei pleaded.


    aiko nodded and mei put down her hands.


    "and now give me a kiss." aiko smirked.


    "no." mei declined immediately, but once she noticed aiko taking a deep breath, she conceded. "fine! fine! don''t shout!"


    mei gave aiko a gentle kiss on her cheek and aiko pouted.


    "there you have it." mei smiled smugly, since someone didn''t specify where she should kiss; she decided by herself~!
