Lucius, Bryson, and the group of Red Dragon Order elders had arrived at the Volcaria Estate.
Ragnar and Savra were already waiting at the entrance and the moment Ragnar saw Bryson, he began to smirk. "Welcome Bryson. To think we meet again after I kicked your ass last time."
Byrson frowned and then smirked as he replied back. "Don''t get too comfortable, Ragnar. I''ll return the favor soon enough."
The tension between the two could clearly be sensed. But before things could escalate further, Lucius stepped between them to calm them down.
Lucius raised his hand and smiled. "Gentlemen. Let''s calm down, shall we? We''re here to discuss something far more important than old grudges."
Ragnar chuckled as he stepped back slightly. "Fair enough, but don''t think I''ve forgotten about it."
Bryson huffed as he followed them deeper to the estate. "Let''s just get this over with this unification."
The elders who heard what their leader had just said were confused. Deon stepped closer to Bryson and asked. "Unification? What is this about?"
Zerath frowned deeply. "We weren''t told anything about unification."@@@@
Lucius smirked as he amusedly glanced back at the elders. "Don''t worry. You''ll understand everything soon enough. For now, just come inside."
The elders hesitated briefly as they exchanged uncertain glances. But with Bryson stepping forward, they had no choice but to follow.
The group entered the Volcaria estate, the grand hall awaiting them. The unification meeting was about to change the future of both Volcaria and the Red Dragon Order forever.
---
The grand hall of the Volcaria estate was filled with tension as the two groups faced each other.
On the left side sat Bryson and the elders of the Red Dragon Order. They were quite cautious.
On the right were Ragnar, Savra, and the prominent members of the Volcaria family.
Lucius sat in the center. He smirked, as his job was to be the middleman that would calm the situation and also the one who planned ahead.
Lucius immediately broke the silence. "Let''s begin. This meeting is about the unification of the Red Dragon Order and the Volcaria family—into a new royal family for the Volcaria Empire."
Lucius nodded. "Exactly. A name that combines the essence of both Volcaria and the Red Dragon Order. It''s a symbol of what we can achieve together."
Bryson sighed as he leaned back in his chair. "It''s... acceptable."
Lucius smirked faintly. "Good, then the names are settled, right?"
Bryson and Ragnar exchanged glances before nodding in unison. "Yes."
Satisfied, Lucius leaned forward slightly as he glanced at Bryson. "Now, let''s discuss the matter I promised—the Emperor-level talent."
Bryson smirked as he nodded. "Yes, it is. So who has attained the Emperor-level talent, as I wanted to check the truth first?"
Before Lucius could respond, Ragnar and Savra exchanged knowing smirks. Savra crossed her arms as she said, "Of course, it''s us."
Bryson was surprised when he gestured toward both of them. "What?! You two?"
Ragnar chuckled, leaning back slightly. "What''s the matter, Bryson? Jealous?"
Bryson clenched his fists as he growled. "Damn it!"
Bryson immediately reached into his spatial ring and took out an ancient orb.
He gestured toward the orb and explained. "This ancient orb can reveal the truth about Emperor-level talents. Touch it, and it will show us the type of Emperor-level talent you''ve attained."
Ragnar smirked as he extended his hand toward the ancient orb. "Sure, let''s see what it says."
Savra chuckled as she leaned back in her chair. "Go on. Prove it to them, Ragnar."
Ragnar smirked as he reached for the ancient orb with his hand. All eyes were fixed on the orb.
Without hesitation, he placed his hand on the orb. The artifact pulsed brightly for a moment before its glow became black, just like the color of the Emperor-level talent stone.
But unlike the talent stone, the orb showed some floating words above it that formed the name of Ragnar''s talent.
The people were surprised when they saw the name of Ragnar''s new Emperor-level talent.
