“Wait a second, don’t tell me you’ve triggered the ‘White Horse Prince’ skill.”

    “Is it like destiny?”

“It’s hopeless, looking at that expression, he’s completely lost his mind.” Qin Muye felt somewhat helpless; he even wanted to remind the other party that his role was the villain, not the main character.

“So, why did Death God Thanatos spare me in the first place?”

“This witch is no ordinary one.”

    “This feels a bit discordant...”

“???” Qin Muye was utterly confused.

“Perhaps only the witch knows how to enter the high tower,” Qin Muye bluntly said.

“Then let’s set up an ambush, and when the time comes, we’ll catch her off guard and torture the method of entering the high tower out of her,” Qin Muye said.

“You’re middle-aged now, can’t you be a little more cautious?” Qin Muye felt this guy was genuinely ill. You can’t even get up there, so how can you save anyone?

“A witch? She only comes back at night, and isn’t in the manor during the day,” the wizard said.

“Prince, we need to hide quickly, the witch is coming,” the wizard hurriedly said, his temperament greatly altered in his quest to get the Lettuce Lady.

“Your Highness, we must act quickly. My beloved Lettuce Lady must be suffering terrible torment at the hands of that damned witch,” the wizard said.

“Thinking about my beloved Lettuce Lady in the hands of the witch makes my heart feel like it’s being boiled in a pot of hot soup.”

“Get ready, we’re about to make a move,” Qin Muye whispered.

“Respected Prince, we must rescue the beautiful lady from the high tower as soon as possible,” the wizard said anxiously.

Like the old witch in the tinderbox, she did not have divine bloodline, signifying no backing, so Death God Thanatos harvested her, while the soldier in the original story was different, having a divine bloodline meant he had backing, and despite taking Death God’s money and even a dog, he managed to reach the peak of life.

Like Lettuce Lady’s singing voice, a normal prince wouldn’t be accompanied by a wizard, nor would he think about locking a witch in the basement.

But so far, it seems that the Greek gods have not directly interfered with the world, unlike traditional Greek myths which are all over the place. Perhaps he hasn’t encountered them yet.

But thinking about it is somewhat exciting; this world seems to not only possess fairy tale stories but also incorporates Greek mythology in it.

After nearly an hour, a golden braid once again dangled from the high tower.

And looking at his situation, he probably has thrown even the Divine Lamp out of his mind.

First was the appearance: absolutely ugly. Then came behavior: definitely evil.

This made the entire world seem very dangerous.

His thoughts were simple: So you really thought you could freeload, huh? Deals were made to capture the Witch first, but unexpectedly you wanted the Lettuce girl first?

He glanced at the broom hovering in midair, utterly bewildered.

He was the protagonist, typically meant to encounter many relevant events. It was just that lacking the Main Character Aura meant events wouldn’t follow the script.

Now, he had grasped the Wizard’s mindset, but honestly, it was truly bizarre that the Wizard couldn’t fly; probably due to being a dud product.

In fairytales, most heroines were beauty-conscious.

The Wizard’s analogy was quite subtle, with a hint of a sycophant’s demeanor.

The Wizard became increasingly excited, almost desperate to climb the tower and rescue the Lettuce girl, but after sneaking around the tower, he found no entrance, which made him even more agitated.

Clearly, the Wizard had been planning this for a long time, but his purpose had also changed, from originally wanting the Divine Lamp to now desiring the Lettuce girl.

Thinking about it, it was a little absurd; he really didn’t expect two fairytale stories intersecting could lead to such nonsensical changes.

If not for the oddity in her singing voice, Qin Muye would have thought his Prince Charming Skill was functioning normally.

The Wizard nearby was clearly excited, under the circumstances, probably having even decided what to name their future offspring.

This was to contrast the story’s protagonist’s handsomeness and righteousness.

The original was Qi System Magic, completely incompatible with him, just like the Magic Eye. If he were to truly use the Qi System method to fly with Flying Magic, he wouldn’t lift off but could be buried in the ground.

From a distance, he saw a figure riding a broom under the moonlight.

In Qin Muye’s eyes, this world was not one of magic or witchcraft, but a world of gods; only those with Divine Bloodline mattered.

    Something didn’t seem quite right.

These Wizards and Witches seemed more like ordinary people who had mastered some special abilities and were thus cursed.

The Wizard had been observing this place for so long without hearing Lettuce girl sing. It was merely bad luck, while Qin Muye had the Prince Charming Skill and triggered it upon arrival.

He saw long hair tumbling down from the tower, and the Witch clambered up, though with some difficulty, looking very odd.

But he quickly dismissed the matter. It was something to be discussed later.

Qin Muye was puzzled though, how had he not been enchanted by the singing of Lettuce girl before?

As for the Witch inside? That was another matter entirely; everyone was so charmed they probably couldn’t think too deeply about anything.
