Chapter 245: Chapter 245 Wee to the Mist Continent

[Wee to the Mist Continent]
[Greetings, Survivor No. 51]
[Detected current location of the survivor: Danger Level 7 Stars. You may teleport to escape.]
[You can consume Star Coins to teleport directly into the Mist Base. Current cost: 100 Star Coins per person.]
[Currency Exchange: 1 One Star Star Stone equals 1 Star Coin.]
Looking at the Intelligent Brain’s information, Ying Haoyu had worried that the Star Coins required for teleportation would be exorbitantly priced.
Who would have thought that only a hundred One Star Star Stones were enough for one teleportation?
It’s likely because the distance to that Mist Base wasn’t far.
Ying Haoyu, filled with excitement, decided with determination.
At the same time, due to binding with the Intelligent Brain, her perception began to shift.
Everything she saw was now marked with various types of information thanks to the Intelligent Brain.
Names, toxicity levels, years, effects, mary values, and more.
Ying Haoyu’s eyes widened in disbelief. She realized this Intelligent Brain was even more convenient than the Terminal’s Star Map and immediately noticed the figures of the Insect n.
Three 8-Star Cockb-Segmented Insects. Through the Intelligent Brain, Ying Haoyu could see their weaknesses and market value.
Each one was worth thirty thousand Star Coins.
Ying Haoyu enthusiastically turned to Si Yan. "Hurry up and bind to the Star Sea Vortex. We’re saved."
The same scenario wasn’t exclusive to Ying Haoyu.
Some were willing to trust the newly awakened world consciousness of the Mist Continent and chose to bind their Intelligent Brain.
Others felt skeptical about the existence of this awakening of world consciousness.
Because in the voice of the world consciousness, the Terminal they had always trusted was described as malevolent.
Rather than bind to an unfamiliar program, they preferred to head to Cloud Ind and seek the Terminal’s protection.
The Terminal, listening to the system broadcast, had no time to spare for the cruise ship sailing toward Cloud Ind.
"It really... awakened?" A suppressed tone of anger echoed as the Terminal muttered to itself.
For the first time, it disyed an emotion as vtile as rage.
It hurriedly extended its consciousness into the Demon Territory in Mist West.
It intended to capture Xiao Jinsheng and keep her under strict watch right under its nose.
However, the moment its consciousness touched the defenses of the Star System Map, it was immediately repelled back to Cloud Ind.
Unable to handle Xiao Jinsheng for the time being, the Terminal was already boiling with anger, and now the Insect n had begun attacking it.
The sudden appearance of the Star System Map in the Mist Continent disrupted the Insect n’s ns to conquer thend.
The Insect Brain and Intelligent Worms conducted a flurry of investigations but failed to find the source of this third Star System Map in the world. However, they did manage to discover a way to deal with the Terminal thanks to the Star System Map’s system broadcast.
Though they couldn’t eliminate the Terminal right away,
they could slow down its pace of consuming the Insect n.
Just as they deployed the Sea Insect Army to Cloud Ind to interfere with the Terminal, the Insect Brain had barely let out a breath of relief when it received bad news brought by an Intelligent Worm.
Intelligent Worm: [My lord, the Purification Tree we dug out has been stolen.]
"Who stole it?" The Insect Brain raged furiously, immediately suspecting: "Was it that newly emerged Star System Map?"
Intelligent Worm: [They bombed the base where we were cultivating the trees and stole the Purification Tree we dug up.]
Intelligent Worm: [The number of Purification Trees in Mist East is very limited. We’ve already dug them all out... and all of them have been taken.]
Intelligent Worm: [For now, the n to advance into Mist West cannot proceed.]
At this moment, the Insect Brain was seething with hatred toward the owner of the Star System Map.
It spected that if someone on the Mist Continent truly possessed the Star System Map,
only two suspects came to mind.
One was the Terminal.
The other was Xiao Jinsheng, that enigmatic human.
The Star System Map’s announcement hadbeled the Terminal as a hostile entity, so the owner of the map was no longer a mystery.
But dealing with Xiao Jinsheng required ess to Mist West.
"Are the analytical data and samples of the Purification Tree still intact?" The Insect Brain’s tone turned cruel. "As long as we have the data, we can develop our own tools to resist the Poisonous Fog."

Lacking the Purification Tree would only slightly dy their entry into Mist West.
No obstacle could block their path through the universe!
"Will there really be survivors arriving soon?" Ming Huaxin asked while familiarizing herself with the Intelligent Brain’s functions, directing her question at Peng Qin.
"If Jinsheng said so, then it must be true." Peng Qin nodded firmly.
Currently, Xiao Jinsheng was extremely busy, so they decided not to disturb her and took the initiative to ept tasks on her behalf.
The castle outside the Demon Territory temporarily functioned as the Mist Base.
With the acquisition of the Star System Map and newfound abilities for self-defense and counterattack, Xiao Jinsheng naturally wouldn’t idly watch as the lives on the Mist Continent perished under the Terminal’s or the Insect n’s hands.
She had already provided everything she could.
The rest was up to the survivors to make their own choices.
In the post-apocalypse, even if she wanted to save others, she would prioritize those willing to trust her.
Xiao Jinsheng considered herself inherently selfish.
She couldn’t bring potential dangers into her home.
Doing so would be irresponsible to both herself and her family, as well as to the other survivors who had ced their trust in her and sought refuge.
The Demon Territory wasrgely inhabited by Demons.
Great Demons were responsible for safety patrols and cultivating trees.
Little Demons hurried about, managing the allocation of vacant rooms in the Demon Territory.
Considering that most of the survivorsing to the Mist Base were humans, Ming Huaxin and Peng Qin’s families took on the duty of weing them to build trust.
Otherwise, survivors arriving only to face unfamiliar Demons might feel like they had jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire.
"Someone’s here. They teleported over." Peng Qin patted Ming Huaxin, who was still engrossed in studying the Intelligent Brain.
Ming Huaxin looked toward the za Xiao Jinsheng had designated for receiving survivors teleporting in via Star Coins.
A tall woman appeared in the teleportation circle, holding a massive axe in one hand and the severed head of a Cockb Insect in the other, her body drenched in blood.
"A female," Ming Huaxin remarked with delight.
"She’s injured," Peng Qin frowned and called out over her shoulder, "Song Ning,e with me to greet her."
A red-eyed, gray-haired Beastman with a youthful, boyish air nodded.
Looking at her newly arrived Beast Husband, who possessed a Healing Superpower and was partially Beastified as a gray rabbit, Peng Qin smiled and tugged him along as they rushed toward Ying Haoyu.
Seeing the strangers approach, Ying Haoyu hadn’t even had time to be on guard before a wave of soothing Healing Power enveloped her.
As her wounds gradually healed, the female who had brought over the Healing-type Beastman offered her a warm smile. "Wee to the Mist Base."
"Was this base built by you?" Ying Haoyu asked cautiously.
"No," Peng Qin shook her head and exined, "This was established by the awakened world consciousness of the Mist Continent. I’m just a survivor who arrived here earlier than you."
"Since you were able to teleport here, you must have bound your Intelligent Brain." Ming Huaxin called forth her Star Sea Vortex:
"The currency of the Mist Base is Star Coins. Besides going out to collect resources for exchange, you can also earn Star Coins bypleting tasks here. Weing new survivors is one such task."
Listening to Ming Huaxin’s exnation, Ying Haoyu nodded in understanding.
Her gaze searched nervously around the area.
"Have you seen another female? My friend. She teleported with me," Ying Haoyu asked anxiously.
She and Si Yan’s families had fled together.
During their escape, under the siege of the Insect n, their Beast Husbands either died or went missing while covering for them.
By the time they reached the boundary of Mist West, out of their twelve-member group, only Ying Haoyu and Si Yan remained.
After binding the Intelligent Brain, the two of them had worked together to decapitate one of the Insect n before promptly teleporting.
Ying Haoyu was worried about Si Yan’s condition when a familiar figure suddenly appeared beside her in the teleportation circle.

"Why is she unconscious?" Peng Qin was startled and urgently turned to Song Ning. "Quick! Heal her now!"
Song Ning noddedpliantly, unleashing his Healing Superpower without reservation.
Ying Haoyu dropped the Cockb Insect’s head and rushed over to support the unconscious Si Yan.
"She fainted from overusing her superpower. Rest will help her recover," Song Ning exined.
Noticing that neither Ying Haoyu nor Si Yan had any Beast Husbands apanying them, Ming Huaxin reassured her, "The Intelligent Brain’s binding will automatically detect the binding rtionships of Contractual Totems."
"If your family is separated, as long as they also choose to bind with an Intelligent Brain, they’ll automatically be added to your contact list."
