"Yes, as long as you''re alive," Marion replied.
"You people are evil, making demands at a time like this," Drake grunted.
Outside, the ambnce arrived.
After Drake was ced on a stretcher, Marion suggested, "I''ll handle things here. You go with him."
"Got it," Debra agreed quickly, knowing only he could take care of things like that. There was no point in her lingering there.
As they were headed to the nearest hospital, Drake weaklyy in the ambnce. His body was badly bruised and covered in blood.
It was a gruesome sight, and Debra looked at him with sympathy.
"What is that look? I''m fine, alright?" Drake started nonchntly.
Debra rolled her eyes. "I just got sand in my eyes. You have no idea how difficult it was to find you. Couldn''t you just leave us more information? Sure enough, you''re not the sharpest tool in the shed."
"I wasn''t caught. I voluntarily left with them," Drake replied.
Debra''s face darkened. "You have the nerve to do that. I..."
A nurse quickly interrupted, "Please, calm down, miss. Don''t agitate the patient."
Debra gritted her teeth. "We''ll settle this when you''re better."
Drake closed his eyes, exhausted. "If I can wake up."
At a time like that, he could still joke. Debra was eager to p him.

That knife wound was severe, and the chance of survival was slim.
She noticed blood from the blood bank being transferred into the operating room.
After a while, a nurse came out. "Mrs. Houston, what''s your blood type?"
"A type."
"The patient urgently needs A-positive blood. Could you..."
"Just take me in."
The nurse handed her a blood donation form. Once she signed, they took her to donate blood.
Drake woke up from surgery three hourster, feeling as though all his bones had been crushed.
