Andrew''s smile grew even wider. "There is always a price to pay."
Barton raised his knife high and drove it straight toward Liza''s shoulder. Just before the de could sink in, Fermin shouted, "Okay, I agree."
Andrew poured himself a cup of tea. "Honestly, whether you agreed or not, I was going to send you home. Now we still have a score to settle. Shall we?"
He smiled, but it didn''t reach his eyes.
Fermin understood the implication. Without hesitation, he lifted his knife and stabbed it into his shoulder.
Liza cried out in shock, "Fermin!"
"I saw your sincerity, Mr. Eaton. Apology epted," Andrew chuckled, turning to Barton. "Stop scaring Miss Eaton and have Mr. Eaton escorted home. Then we''ll release her."
"Yes, sir." Barton nodded.
Before this, Liza had always thought Andrew was just a sickly man, smart but not dangerous.
Now she knew how wrong she had been. He barely moved from his chair, yet he had thempletely at his mercy.
For the first time, she was awed. Fermin had neverpromised with anyone before.
As a car pulled up, Fermin nced at Liza, who was still tightly gripped by Barton.
There was no escape.
Soon, Barton led Liza upstairs.
Andrew was sipping tea, lookingpletely at ease.
"No need to be afraid, Miss Eaton. I won''t hurt you."
"You just made Fermin stab himself. And you expect me to believe that?"

"You want him to shoot himself too? That''s too much."
"Did he hold back when he shot Debra?"
"I..."
Liza was rendered speechless, knowing Fermin was in the wrong.
Andrew smiled, "Well, if you answer a question from me, I can let him off. What do you say?"
Liza hesitated. "You''re serious?"
Andrew nodded. "Of course."
"What do you want to know?"
"Where has Fermin taken you in the past month?"
"That''s all you want to know?"
