Chapter 845: Chapter 847: Sparring With You

"Elder Jian, are the people from the Dragon Grouping or not?" The people from the Chen Sect were getting a bit impatient. Although Fangding Mountain isn’t very high, it’s already the deep winter season. Even though they could resist the cold using True Qi, they still felt a bit chilly, not asfortable as being in a heated room.
"Exactly! Could it be that the Dragon Group is too scared toe?"
"I knew the people from the Dragon Group wouldn’t agree to a duel with us so readily. Hmph, this group of cowards."
Everyone was talking, one after the other, pletely out of patience to wait any longer.
They had been standing here for an hour and twenty minutes.
"Elder Jian, if they don’te, does that mean their Dragon Group is no match for us in Ancient Martial Arts?"
"Exactly. At critical moments, they chicken out and can’tpare to us. Back in the day, we proposed fair duels more than once with them, but what happened? They acted like reclusive turtles, only daring to y tricks from behind, timid and evasive."
"That’s right!"
After that person finished speaking, the surrounding people all echoed their agreement with what he said.
Chu Ge nced at the time and then looked up at Jian Chunqiu with some confusion, "Two hours have already passed, and they still haven’t arrived. Are they really going to stand us up?"
Chu Ge’s intuition told him that something suspicious was causing the Dragon Group to bete.
Jian Chunqiu saw through Chu Ge’s thoughts, he pondered for a moment, and then gently shook his head, "Let’s wait a little longer. Right now, we should be worried that the Shadow Assassins might be lurking in ambush. We are in the light while they are in the shadows. We don’t know what means they might use against us, so we must be careful."
Chu Ge chuckled lightly and shook his head, "Uncle Jian, when did you be so cautious? We have so many Ancient Martial Arts practitioners here on Fangding Mountain. Should we be afraid of a few Shadow Assassins?"
Jian Chunqiu gently shook his head, "I just feel that things aren’t as simple as they seem. The Dragon Group must have encountered some issue. Although those few Shadow Assassins can’t do much to us by themselves, I’m worried they might resort to more despicable tactics midway."
After a moment of silence, Chu Ge slowly asked, "Uncle Jian, are you worried that the Shadow Assassins will set a trap on the way for the Dragon Group and then take the opportunity to incite conflict between our Ancient Martial Arts group and the Dragon Group?"
Jian Chunqiu’s lips curled into a faint smile, which carried a hint of coldness, "Do we really need them to stir up the conflict between us and the Dragon Group? By doing so, they would only make our rtionship worse."
Jian Chunqiu looked into the distance. What he was worried about wasn’t the rtionship deteriorating further but that Long Ang would really fall into the Shadow Assassins’ ambush, facing dire consequences.
As time went by, everyone’s patience was almostpletely worn out, and finally, some people started to head down the mountain, having no time to wait like monkeys.
However, Jian Chunqiu did not insist on keeping those who chose to leave since today’s fair duel was voluntary.
Chu Ge nced at the time again; another ten minutes had passed.
"Uncle Jian, are we just going to keep waiting here?"
Jian Chunqiu gently nodded, "I’ve already sent someone to investigate the situation. I believe we’ll have news soon."
Chu Ge sighed, "Uncle Jian, it looks like they’re noting."
Jian Chunqiu shook his head, "Not necessarily."
The two of them were looking in a certain direction when they suddenly saw a conspicuous taxi approaching.
All of them were Ancient Martial Artists, reaching Fangding Mountain by either driving themselves or flying over; there was no way a taxi woulde here. With so many people on Fangding Mountain, if ordinary people saw them, they would surely think something sinister was going on and call the police to interfere.
Chu Ge squinted at the taxi, feeling it was very odd, "Someone actually took a taxi toe here?"
"Who could it be? Are they a fool to take a taxi here? If the driver gets suspicious and calls the police, they’ll make us look bad."
The others also noticed the car and were annoyed to see someone getting out of the taxi.
When they saw who it was, they collectively froze.
"Eh? Isn’t that..." One of them pointed in surprise at the person at the foot of the mountain, "Isn’t that Long Ang, the Group Leader of the Dragon Group?"
"Why did hee by taxi?"
"The point is, why is he alone?"

"Damn! Isn’t this guy too arrogant, ing here alone!"
The crowd started chattering, expressing their dissatisfaction with Long Ang’s audaciousness.
Chu Ge looked at Long Ang in suspicion and asked Jian Chunqiu, "Uncle Jian, what’s going on here? Did the Dragon Group only send Group Leader Long Ang to fight?"
Jian Chunqiu also looked at Long Ang in confusion, then slowly shook his head, "I’m not sure about the details, but we’ll know once Long Ang gets up here."
Long Ang paid the fare and got out of the car. He first swept his eyes around at the foot of the mountain, and upon seeing the destion of Fangding Mountain, he couldn’t help but snort lightly.
He had heard the legends of Fangding Mountain before, which had led him to see Ancient Martial Arts in a different light.
Now, standing here again and seeing the barren appearance of Fangding Mountain, he couldn’t help but feel a surge of emotions.
On the mountaintop, someone scratched their head in confusion, "What’s that guy doing at the bottom of the mountain?"
"Does he really think he’s important, inspecting the ce?"
"Ha, exactly. He’s already thiste, still putting on airs at the bottom. Is he waiting for us to greet him?"
"Pfft! Dream on!" One of them wanted nothing more than to rush up and have a good fight with Long Ang.
After a moment of reflection at the foot of the mountain, Long Ang finally climbed up.
The terrain here was steep, but Long Ang used True Qi to fly up directly.
As he soared into the air, he immediately spotted Jian Chunqiu standing in front of a clearing.
He flew over straight to Jian Chunqiu andnded in front of him.
"Elder Jian," Long Ang greeted with a slight smile, his tone carrying a hint of respect.
Jian Chunqiu stood with one hand behind his back and smiled, saying to Long Ang, "Group Leader Long Ang,ing alone for a duel, aren’t you underestimating us in Ancient Martial Arts?"
A trace of embarrassment flickered across Long Ang’s face, and he awkwardly chuckled, "Elder Jian, you must be joking. I have no intention of belittling Ancient Martial Arts at all, it’s just that..."
He chuckled, feeling a bit awkward, "It’s just that I’m no longer the Group Leader of the Dragon Group and can’t represent them in a duel with you."
