    Maggie froze.

Johnny paused as well. He nced at Maggie, then whispered, "Teacher... Why would Mr. Wilson want to meet with you? Can you tell us?"

"He said he wanted to introduce someone to me," Nn replied.

ith that, he ended the call without saying more.

Johnny turned to Maggie and said, "Could it be that the person Mr. Wilson wants to introduce to Teacher is Julia?"

It was during their recent dealings with the Brown family that Johnny found out that the Brown family also had its own techpany.

Julia had previously wanted to work at theirpany to be involved with their programmingnguage, cuap.

The outside world believed that cuap was developed by Nn''s team, even though the truth was moreplicated.

Now that Julia couldn''t join theirpany, it was very likely that she would reach out to Nn to study cuap. It was even possible that Julia might want to be one of Nn''s students. Thinking of this, Johnny couldn''t help but curse under his breath. "Damn!"

    Maggie had the same thought.

She suspected that this might be Franklin''s way ofpensating her for not allowing Julia''s family to move into the house across from her uncle.

After all, given Franklin''s feelings for Julia, how could he allow her to suffer in order to help Maggie?

Johnny said, "If she really has hidden talents, doesn''t that mean-"

Although they were students of Nn, and although he was usually indifferent to them, their rtionship with him was actually quite good.

Nn was strict with them, but in fact, he was a cold person with a warm heart. He also had strong principles.

If Julia''s abilities and talents were truly impressive, Nn wouldn''t refuse to take her on just because of the history between her and Maggie.

    So...

Maggie quicklyposed herself and said, "Let''s focus on our own work for now."

The only thing she could do was focus on improving herself.

That evening, she returned hometer than usual, and Grandma was already asleep. However, when she got home, Franklin hadn''t yet returned. 14:55

He might not return at all.

But when she came out of the bathroom after a shower, she found that Franklin had actuallye back.

Seeing him, her steps faltered for a moment, and she nodded at him slightly as a greeting

As for why he had met with Nn today, she didn''t ask a word.

Franklin didn''t speak either. After giving her a nce, he headed to the bathroom for a shower.

The next morning. Maggie woke up a bitte.

When she went downstairs, she heard Grandma''s sarcastic voice directed at Franklin "Last night, I was already in bed by ten, and you still weren''t home. I thought you wouldn''te back! Franklin, sitting across from Grandma, calmly drank his water without replying,

Grandma knocked on the table, pretending to be angry. "Say something! Stop pretending to be muter

Franklin put down his cup and, seeing Maggieing downstairs, nced at her before turning back to Grandma and saying "Didn''t you say I had toe back and apany you this morning? "Hmph, I thought you''d ignore me again!"

    "I wouldn''t dare."

Though he said this, his tone was indifferent, showing no sign of difort or guilt.

Grandma was so annoyed she stopped talking to him and waved at Maggie, signaling her toe and sit.

Maggie sat down and asked, "Grandma, are you going out to yter?"

"It''s not ''you all,'' it''s ''we!" Grandma smiled. "We''ll go together. Mag, where would you like to go? Grandma will follow your lead."

Maggie sometimes felt like a very boring person. She couldn''t think of any entertaining ces that everyone would enjoy.

She said, "I''m fine with anything. It''s up to you."

Grandma already had a n in mind, and hearing Maggie''s words, she asked,

"How about hot springs? Last time we were supposed to go but didn''t get a chance, and I ended up getting sick from the frustration. This time, someone''s going to make it up to me." That "someone" naturally referred to Franklin.

Franklin remained calm, drinking his tea, and didn''t seem ufortable or embarrassed at all by Grandma bringing it up.

It was as if the incident didn''t matter to him at all.

He never seemed to have cared about it.

Mazejkjkkalized this end everted her gaze.

She led aiready been to the hot springs before, and she didn''t feel any excitement about going again. But since Grandma had mentioned u, de simply we along with it. "Alright" After biraktas, Maggie started parking for the trip to the hot spring resort.

But the only packed for heruit, not for Franklin.

After all, though Franklin was her husband in name, he was not her actual husband. He was currently Julia''s man. She guessed he wouldn''t be happy if she touched his belongings. And right now, she had no interest in touching his things anyway,

As for Isabe''s things, Aunt Sara helped with those.

If this were before, Maggie might have worried that Aunt Sara hadn''t packed everything, and even though Aunt Sara helped, she would still have double checked.

But now, after finishing packing her own things, she simply dragged her little suitcase downstairs without worrying about Isabe''s things.

After waiting downstairs for a while, both Isabe and Franklin came down.

When they arrived at the hot spring resort, Franklin seemed to have gone off to make a phone call.

While Maggie was organizing her belongings in the room, Grandma came in and handed her a box, whispering, "This is the outfit I prepared for you. Remember to wear it when you go to the hot springster." From Grandma''s expression, Maggie quickly guessed what was inside the box.
