Not long after Isabe called Maggie, the car sent by Franklin to pick up Isabe arrived.
In the end, Isabe didn’t wait for Maggie toe back and got into the car to leave.
When they arrived at the private room, Isabe threw herself into Franklin and Julia’s arms. “Daddy, Aunt Julie!”
Franklin smiled and ruffled her head, while Julia helped take her schoolbag and put it aside.
In the private room, Harry, Levi, and Sophia were all there.
Seeing how much Isabe missed Franklin and Julia, Levi chuckled.
“Franklin, I told you you should’ve taken Isabe abroad with you. Look, it’s only been a few days, and she already misses you both so much. If you had been anyter, she would’ve probably cried.”
The way Levi said it made it seem like Isabe had been wronged by staying with Maggie.
Harry paused for a moment, and before Franklin could respond, he changed the topic. “Did Isabe go out and y these past few days?”
Isabe sat down and said, “Yes, Mom took me to see a movie, yed some VR games, and we also had a
meal.”
Levi asked, “That’s it?”
“That’s it,” Isabe replied nonchntly. “Mom’s been so busy, she didn’t have much time to spend with
me.”
Levi thought Isabe was referring to Maggie being busy with the holiday social obligations during the
New Year. After all, that was how he and Harry spent their time.
They had been so busy since the end ofst year. These past few days, after managing all the rtives,
they finally found some free time to have a meal together and rx.
Julia was reading a book.
Isabe took a sip of her drink, bored, and flipped through the book in front of her. She looked at the cover, and something about it seemed familiar. She couldn’t help but nce at it again.

Harry asked, “Isabe, are you interested in this kind of book?”
Isabe shook her head. “No, I just realized that my mom has the same book.”
Upon hearing this, Julia froze for a moment, then smiled slightly.
The cover of this book was the same for both the beginner and advanced versions.
This one was the advanced version. Not to mention undergrad students, even when she was pursuing her PhD, she hadn’te across such in–depth content.
Julia had been reading a lot recently, and Sophia had been visiting the Green family daily, so she knew that the book had both beginner and advanced versions.
When Isabe mentioned it, Julia instinctively thought that Maggie must be reading the beginner version.
She almostughed out loud but held herself back because of Franklin and Harry’s presence.
Harry understood immediately.
Hearing what Isabe said, he lowered his head and smiled but didn’t say anything.
At that moment, Levi seemed to remember something, raised an eyebrow, and looked at Harry with a
smile.
“Harry, I heard your mom’s been trying to set you up with blind dates these past few days. So, how’s it going? Any suitable ones?”
This question immediately drew everyone’s attention.
Sophia had also heard about this.
And that was why she was even more anxious now.
She nervously stared at Harry.
Harry pretended not to notice Sophia and nced at Levi faintly. “Do you never get tired of gossiping?”
Levi chuckled. “I’m just curious, that’s all.”
Harry didn’t respond.
It was clear that Harry wasn’t keen on blind dates.

His silence spoke volumes, and everyone understood what it meant.
Levi couldn’t help but add,
“By the way, how are things going with that ‘Auntie‘ of Daisy’s? Since you like her, why don’t you just tell your mom? Or is it that her family background is too different from yours, and you’re afraid your mom
won’t approve, so…”
Before Harry could reply, he interrupted Levi, “Can’t you keep quiet with all this food around?”
The more Harry didn’t speak, the more curious Levi became.
He continued, “Since you’re worried your mom won’t approve, you haven’t brought her home yet. But it’s been so long, you could at least bring her to let me and Franklin take a look, right?”
He then looked at Franklin before asking, “What do you think, Frank?”
Franklin smiled, nced at Harry, and said, “When the time is right, I’m sure Harry won’t need your encouragement to bring her over. Let’s not get involved.”

Who didn’t know that?
He was just curious.
Sophia tugged at Julia’s sleeve. “Sis…”
Previously, Levi had told her that Harry already had someone he liked to discourage her.
At that time, she didn’t believe it.
But now it seemed like it might be true.
Julia gave a faint smile, looking rxed, but didn’t speak.
The fact that Daisy had an “Auntie” they hadn’t met was definitely true.
But…”
Did Harry really care that much about the other person? Or was it possible that Daisy’s “Auntie” was just
a shield? He might have staged all of this just to keep people from knowing who he really liked.
