Divorce LONG 284

Glen had yet to find the opportunity to go rafting with Maggie.

However, at dinner, he once again “coincidentally” ran into Maggie and her family.

Maggie’s uncle and aunt warmly invited him and his friends to sit down and have dinner with them.

Upon learning that he was from the White family, Jason asked with curiosity, “What made you suddenly want to return to America for development?”

Thinking back to the original reason foring back to the country, Glen paused briefly while eating before replying, “I’m very interested in Cole’s programmingnguage, CUAP, and thetest project, Infinite–CM. I wanted

toe back and learn at Cole.”

The Miller family knew about Maggie and Cole.

At his words, they all smiled and subtly nced at Maggie.

Maggie silently lowered her head and continued eating.

Glen didn’t give it much thought.

Maggie’s professional skills were undoubtedly impressive.

But Glen had spoken to people who knew her and learned that she had only joined Colest year. CUAP, however, had been around for many years.

Moreover, it wasmonly known that CUAP was developed by Nn at Cole.

In the eyes of the industry, CUAP was so impressive that it only made sense for it to have been developed by Nn.

As for Cole’stest project, Infinite–CM, he truly thought it was being led by Johnny.

After joining Cole, he had met Johnny a few times during meetings.

From the few interactions, Glen could sense that Johnny’s professional abilities were indeed very impressive.

But since he hadn’t had much in–depth contact with him, he couldn’t reallypare whether Maggie or Johnny was more capable.

However, from what he had observed in work situations, it always seemed that Maggie was the one assisting Johnny.

Therefore, he had assumed that Johnny’s professional abilities were superior to Maggie’s.

The Miller family was well–mannered, warm, and talkative. After this meal, Glen developed a good impression of them all.

However, after dinner, Maggie and her family left the scenic area to go home.

Once Glen saw them leave, he also didn’t linger at the scenic area.

The next day, Maggie received a call from Isabe.

    Isabe was returning to America.

She said, “Mom, Dad won’t be back for another two or three days. Are you free? After I get back, I’d like to visit you and great–grandmother.”

Maggie recalled that her grandmother had mentioned Isabe several times over the past few days. After a brief pause, she replied, “You cane over.”

On thest day of the holiday, after Isabe arrived in America, she went straight to the Miller family.

She also brought gifts for Maggie, her grandmother, and the rest of the family.

Maggie’s grandmother and Jason were all very happy with the gifts Isabe had brought.

Maggie noticed that, besides the gifts for them, there were two other presents left in Isabe’s suitcase.

It was obvious that these were for Franklin and Julia.

    Maggie calmly averted her gaze.

After handing out the gifts, Isabe, now tired from her travels, came over to cuddle with Maggie. Before falling asleep, she found afortable spot in her arms, hugging her waist, and soon drifted into sleep.

    She hadn’t even showered yet.

But seeing how exhausted she looked and how soundly she was sleeping, Maggie didn’t wake her.

After Isabe had fallen deeply asleep, Maggie gently ced her on the bed.

Isabe took a nap, and the next morning, before Maggie went to work, she drove her to school.

Maggie didn’t ask when Franklin would be back.

However, after spending three days during the holiday, Franklin returned.

Upon returning to America, he didn’t contact Maggie but reached out to Isabe instead.

After Isabe finished her phone call with Franklin, she told Maggie, “Mom, he said he’lle pick me up in a bit.”

    Maggie said, “Okay.”

Isabe, although still reluctant to leave the Miller family, ultimately decided to return with Franklin, as he had said he missed her.

    Half an hourter, Franklin arrived.

Maggie, holding Isabe’s hand, walked to his car.

Franklin got out of the car and looked at her, saying, “You’ve worked hard these past few days.”

Maggie didn’t say anything. Instead, she spoke to Isabe, “Isabe, I need to have a word with your dad. You go ahead and get in the car first.”

    Isabe nced at them: “Oh…”

She obediently got into the car.

After Franklin shut the car door, Maggie finally spoke: “You’re letting her go with bodyguards all the way out there, and she’s only six. Are you sure about that?”
