My Dad Please Come 763

    Chapter 763

Jessica reported all her findings from the day to Ida.

Ida nodded with satisfaction. “Good. Now that you have this Hearhain Curse, Stanley won’t be able to leave you.”

Jessica smiled, feeling hopeful but nervous. “About the Heartchain Curse, there’s no chance it’ll suddenly stop working, right? I finally have a chance to stay close to Stanley, and I’m really scared of losing him.”

Idaughed softly. “Don’t worry. It’s a powerful curse. Stanley won’t get better unless he’s with you forever.”

    “Alright. Thank you so much.”

“No need to thank me. Ourmon enemies now are Wendy and Brittany. I won’t let either of them off the hook!”

In the hospital room, Zayn approached Stanley quietly. “Mr. Hawk, Jessica just stepped out to take a call. I overheard a bit–she was talking to someone named Ms. Olsen.”

    Ms. Olsen?

    Ida?

Could Ida really be the mastermind behind this?

Stanley pressed his lips together, uncertain. He knew who Ida was an orphan who had grown up alongside Horace. Did she really have that much power?

Could Ida be hiding some secret?

“Mr. Hawk, what should we do now?”

“I suspect Jessica and Ida are working together, but I don’t know their exact n yet. It’s fine. I’ll test Jessica and find out.”

“How do you n to do that?”

Stanley smirked. “By turning them against each other.”

Watching Stanley’s confident expression, Zayn felt nervous for Jessica. For her to y tricks on Stanley himself was pretty/ reckless.

Just then, the hospital room door opened and Jessica walked in. “I’m back.”

Stanley looked at her. “Are you done with the call? Who was it?”

Jessica already had an excuse ready. She smiled. “It was my mom.

Stanley smiled back. “What did Mrs. Larson say?”

“She asked how things are going between us. The Hawk and Larson families have been close for generations, and our moms are best friends. Of course, she hopes I’ll marry you soon,” Jessica replied.

Jessica looked at Stanley with hopeful eyes.

Stanley didn’t answer directly but said with a grin, “Thanks for staying by my side. How about this–I’m free tomorrow, so I’ll take you out to dinner.”

Jessica’s eyes lit up. “Really? I can’t wait!”

Stanley nodded. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”

Jessica returned to the Larson family home. Horace and Brittany saw her, and Brittany stepped forward, concerned. “Where have you been?”

“I went to see Stanley. I’ve been spending time with him.”

Brittany froze for a moment. “What? You’ve been with Stanley? Thest time he came to the Larson family, he made things very clear. Your dad and I want you to find someone who truly loves youand can make you happy. You should give up on him.”

Jessica cut her off before she could say more. “Stanley asked me out to dinner tomorrow.”

Brittany blinked in surprise. “He asked you to dinner? What exactly does he want?”

Horace furrowed his brow. “Why would Stanley ask you out?”

    Jessica smiled proudly.

It didn’t matter if Horace and Brittany didn’t support her–she had Ida on her side, and with that, she could get Stanley.

“His heart has always been with me. If he’s asking me to dinner, it means he wants to be with me!”
