My Dad Please Come 855

Shaun told Halsey to stop pretending.

Halsey’s cheeks turned pink. He was a grown man, parked outside her ce in the middle of the night, asking her toe down. It didn’t take a genius to figure out what he had in mind.

She wasn’t some naive little girl. Three years ago, they had already slept together.

Biting her lip, Halsey typed out a message. [I’m tired. I’m going to sleep now.)

Inside the sleek luxury car, Shaun sat alone. His long fingers held his phone, eyes scanning her reply.

    She said she was tired.

He smirked and let out a quietugh.

[Are you trying to back out of your promise?]

Halsey quickly climbed into bed and pulled the covers over herself. He was using her of backing out.

She thought for a second and sent another message. [Sure, I said I’d thank you properly, but I never said when!]

After she sent the message, Shaun didn’t reply.

Lying in bed, Halsey closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep. But she kept tossing and turning, wide awake.

She checked her phone again–still no message from Shaun.

    It was quiet.

    But something felt missing.

Unable to resist, she got out of bed and walked over to the window. Looking down, she saw Shaun’s luxury car still parked right

    there.

She checked the time. It was already 11:00 PM.

Was he seriously nning to stay out there all night?

Shaun stayed in the car, not wanting to leave. Even if he went back to the office now, he wouldn’t be able to focus on work, His thoughts were full of Halsey.

But she didn’t want toe down.

Leaning back in his seat, Shaun rested his tall frame against the leather cushion and smirked faintly.

Just then, someone tapped on his window.

Shaun looked up and saw a curvy silhouette outside. A woman dressed in a skimpy, revealing outfit had tapped on his car

    window.

He lowered the window a bit and looked at her. “Can I help you?”

A shy car like his screamed status, and the woman had clearly noticed him a while ago. A luxury car and a hand. alone thiste–it was a tempting sight.

The woman leaned forward slightly and spoke with a sweet, flirty voice. “Hi, there. You out here by yourself tonight?”

    Shaun didn’t respond.

    e man, all

She tugged on her spaghetti strap, letting it slide a little to reveal more of her chest. “I’m alone too. Want to hit a bar together and grab a drink?”

Shaun was just about to speak when a soft, calm voice cut through the night.

    “He’s not by himself.”

Shaun turned and saw Halsey–she hade downstairs.

The woman shot Halsey a re full of attitude. “Who are you? I’m talking to this gentleman. It’s kinda rude for you to butt in.”

Halsey looked her over. “Sorry, but I know this man.”

“So what? Just because you know him doesn’t mean you can stick your nose into his business.”

Halsey hadn’t expected women these days to be so bold. This one was exactly the same type as Sienna.

Halsey gave a little smirk. “Oh, I should be more specific. I’m his wife.”

    Wife?

The woman froze. “Seriously? You’re his wife?”

“Of course I am! Now, do me a favor and stay away from my husband. If I see you near him again, I’ll expose you for trying to be a homewrecker,” Halsey snapped.
