Halsey quickly pulled out her phone.


    “I’m calling Shaun!”


    However, Gilbert immediately pped the phone out of her hand, sending it hitting the ground with a loud crack.


    “My phone!”


    Halsey tried to pick it up, but Chelsea’s stiletto heel came down hard, grinding the phone into the floor.


    “Give it up, Halsey!” Chelsea said with a cold smile. “You’re not getting away tonight.”


    Halsey narrowed her eyes. “What the hell do you two want from me?”


    Gilbert turned toward the door. “Guys!”


    A group of bodyguards in ck rushed in. “Yes, Mr. Greenwood?”


    Gilbert faced Halsey again. “Shaun’s gone, and my men have already surrounded the vi. So tonight, you’d better behave. Don’t make things harder than they need to be.”


    Halsey red at him. “What are you trying to do?”


    Gilbert took out two ne tickets and held them up. “Come with me. Let’s leave this ce. We can start over somewhere new.”


    “Start over?” Halsey gave a bitterugh. “What do you mean, start over? We never even started in the first ce!”


    “You little…”


    “Don’t forget! Our families might have arranged our marriage back then, but you cheated on me with Sienna. I shouldn’t even have to remind you. I’m with Shaun now. I love him, and I’m carrying his child. So stop dreaming!”


    Gilbert’s gaze dropped to her stomach. “It doesn’t matter if you’re pregnant. Just get rid of it! Once the baby’s gone, we can pretend none of this ever happened and live a happy life abroad.”


    “No, it’s time you woke up. I’m never going with you!” Halsey snarled.


    “You don’t have a choice, Halsey! You’ll leave with me today!”


    “No, I won’t go! Shaun wille for me!”


    Gilbert snapped. He grabbed a handful of Halsey’s long hair and yanked hard.


    “You really know how to piss me off, huh? It’s always Shaun this, Shaun that! Do you have any idea how sick I am of hearing his name?”


    Chelsea had been watching the whole thing like a show. Now she stepped forward. “Gilbert, it’s clear that Ms. Mallin doesn’t care about you anymore. Even if you drag her overseas, she’ll just run again.”


    He turned to her. “What’s your point?”


    “Why not make her disappear?” Chelsea suggested with a twisted smile. “That way, you won’t lose to Shaun. In fact, you’ll get to watch him spend the rest of his life grieving over her. You’ll be the ultimate winner!”


    Chelsea was doing everything she could to manipte Gilbert.


    No one in the world hated Halsey more than she did. And right now, she would’ve been thrilled if Halsey vanished for good.


    “Wow, you really are twisted. I wonder if Warren knows what kind of person you really are,” Halsey sneered.


    Chelsea smirked. “He’ll never know. To him, I’ll always be a good friend. You’re the one he can’t stand.”


    Furious, Halsey turned to Gilbert. “Chelsea’s just using you, too!”


    Gilbert red at her.


    “This is yourst chance. Are youing with me or not?” His tone turned colder. “I mean it! My patience has limits. If you refuse, I’ll make sure you disappear.”


    Halsey held her ground. “Then I’ll say it again-give it up! I love Shaun. I’ll never be with you. Not in this life!”


    Chelseaughed.


    “You heard her! She’s just in stubborn. She doesn’t appreciate the second chance you’re giving her.”
