    “Understood!” Belinda straightened her back, responding with unwavering determination.


    As the night deepened, Belinda made sure Jazmine and Rowell werefortably settled before finally heading home herself.


    Later that night, in Kylee’s room, Kylee received a call from Verena.


    “Minna is dead. Have you heard?” Verena said.


    Kylee was stunned.


    “What? Minna is dead? How did that happen?”


    “She was stabbed to death by Macie,” Verena said.
