    "Do you really think you can talk to me like that?" Selena shot a finger at Yasmine, her voice dripping with disdain.


    Yasmine nced at her, unfazed. She then looked round at the gathered leaders. "Good afternoon, everyone. I''m sorry for interrupting with my personal issues. I''ve seen the post online. But seriously, just because of a blurry photo, she wants to convict me? Doesn''t that sound ridiculous?" Her tone was steady and calm. Carter, the president, exchanged worried nces with the other leaders. They knew the photo wasn''t convincing, yet Selena''s influence was hard to ignore. Selena scoffed, fixing her re on Yasmine. "If I didn''t have proof, do you think I''d be here?" She took out a USB drive from her bag and waved it in the air. "Let''s see if you can remain tough after watching this!" She then motioned for Carter''s assistant to plug it into the projector.


    The assistant quickly inserted the USB, and soon, a video flickered onto the screen. The image was fuzzy, but Yasmine''s figure stood out clearly. The watermark at the bottom showed it was fromst year. The video captured Yasmine and a man walking into a hotel. Yasmine stifled augh. This was a video from when she had dinner with Yonas.


    Selena hired someone to edit the timestamp and remove Yo**s''s features-he looked almost unrecognizable, but Yasmine was crystal clear.


    Everything Selena was doing showed a simple fact: she just wanted to use Yasmine of having an affair but hide the fact that Yonas was the man Yasmine was seeing.


    "Mrs. Flynn, if you want to frame someone, at least hire a better editor," Yasmine couldn''t help but sneer. She pointed at the screen, "Look at the watermark. Everything else is blurred, but the date has a double watermark." Several leaders in the room leaned forward to squint at the video. It didn''t take long for them to notice that alongside Selena''s edits, the real date was visible. Suddenly, everything made sense.


    Selena''s face turned red with anger as her n fell apart. She mmed her hand on the table, ring at Carter. "Listen, if you don''t want to cross the Flynn family, Yasmine has to be expelled today!"

    Just then, the door swung open, letting in a beam of light. Yonas walked in, dressed sharply in a fitted suit. He had an air about...m that was both calm andmanding, making everyone in the room hesitant to meet his gaze. A heavy silence filled the room. Carter and the other leaders exchanged confused looks, wondering why he showed up. They greeted Yonas, and he nodded but kept his eyes. locked on Yasmine.


    For some reason, seeing him made Yasmine rx. He didn''t say anything, but she felt like he was there to support her.
