Reservation 21

For the past three years, Liz had clung to Zac, refusing to break things off. In the end, she had turned herself into a joke.

To be honest, Jeff had lost some respect for her because of it.

Zac’s expression finally eased a little, though his tone stayed cold. “You’re overthinking it. It’s not that I care about her. She’s just annoying.”

Jeff nodded. “Yeah, I get it. If my girlfriend acted out every few days, I’d be fed up too.”

Truthfully, only Zac could’ve tolerated Liz’s drama for three years straight.

As they talked, the bar manager walked two men upstairs. Both were over six feet tall, sharply featured, and built like models.

Jeff blinked in disbelief when he saw the manager lead them into the private booth where Liz and Jane were sitting. He couldn’t believe his eyes.

“Was Liz really hiring male escorts? Right in front of Zac? Had shepletely lost it? Wasn’t she afraid of pushing him over the edge?” Jeff thought.

Even if the love was gone, no man could sit there and watch his fiancée cheat on him in in sight and feel nothing.

Jeff nced over at Zac. Sure enough, his face looked like it was carved from stone. His eyes were fixed on the booth door, sharp and cold, like they could cut through steel.

Jeff instinctively pulled back, not even wanting to imagine what it would feel like to be on the receiving end of that re.

    Smash.

Zac’s ss shattered in his hand. Blood streamed down his palm.

Jeff and Rick both stiffened, their expressions shifting in an instant.

    “Zac!”

They called out at the same time, concern written all over their faces.

But Zac didn’t even look at them. He got up and walked straight toward the booth.

Inside the booth, Jane reached out and gave the male escort’s abs a yful squeeze, then leaned forward to take the piece of fruit he held up to her lips. She couldn’t help narrowing her eyes in satisfaction.

“Now this is how you enjoy life.”

Why should men be the only ones allowed to mess around? Women deserved to have their fun too.

Jane turned to Liz and nearly rolled her eyes. Liz was sitting stiffly on the couch like a schoolgirl, hands folded neatly in herp. There was enough space between her and the guy next to her to fit a whole person. It was honestly kind of ridiculous.

Jane sighed. “Liz, do you even realize how expensive he is? He charges thousands an hour. Don’t waste it.”

Then she turned back to the escort and lifted her brow. “It’s warm in here. Help her out of her coat and hang it up.”

The escort nodded and reached toward Liz.

She was just about to refuse when the door suddenly mmed open.

“What the hell are you doing?!”

Zac’s furious voice sliced through the room like a bucket of ice water.

The male escort froze instantly, feeling Zac’s icy rend squarely on his outstretched hand. He flinched and quickly pulled it back, hiding it behind him.

No one could me him. Zac’s stare was downright terrifying.

Jane looked up with a scowl. “Mr. Lincoln, ever heard of knocking before barging into someone else’s booth?”

Zac didn’t respond. His eyes were locked on Liz, and the chilling off him was enough to make the room feel ten degrees

    colder.

“Liz, have you forgotten that you’re about to get married? Coming to a bar and fooling around with men like this-aren’t you worried about what you might catch?”

His voice was sharp, the words cutting and humiliating. The two escorts visibly tensed, their expressions darkening

Jane let out a dryugh. “Zac Lincoln, these guys are way cleaner than you are. At least they’re not disgusting cheaters who two- time people while in rtionships.”

Zac turned his re on her. “What happens between Liz and me isn’t your concern.

Before he could say anything more, Liz finally spoke up.

“We already broke up, Zac Lincoln. What I do now has nothing to do with you.
