Noah shook his head helplessly. He had finally figured it out that his friend waspletely lovesick. Hopelessly so
Sean, always calm andposed, had been surrounded by admirers since they were young. Women like pady had chased him relentlessly. <b>But </b>Sean, cold as ice<b>, </b>had never once shown interest.
For a long time, Noah thought Sean was simply indifferent to women altogether until he saw a photo of Charlotte at Sean’s house.
That was when he realized that Sean wasn’t uninterested in women. He had just been carrying one <b>in </b>his heart all along.
He had turned down everyone else because of her.
After dinner, Gaius waspletely drunk. <b>The </b>restaurant manager had already called <b>a </b>designated driver to take him home early.
Outside the restaurant, Tim turned to Sean and Noah
“Mr. Jasper<b>, </b>Mr. Smith, we’ll head out first”
Sean said nothing.
There were some things he couldn’t say himself, but Noah understood <i>and </i>spoke on <b>his </b>behalf,
“Are you taking a cab back<b>?</b><b>” </b>
Tim replied, “Yes, Miss Riley and I are in town for work. We’re staying <b>at </b><b>a </b>hotel nearby.”

Tim nced at his ride–hailing app and muttered to himself, “Why didn’t you say so earlier?
But the car was already <b>on </b>its way. It felt awkward <b>to </b>cancel it just to ask for a <b>ride</b>, so he nodded.

But Curlotte spoke up, politely dedining,
-There’s no need. I’ll just order a car myself”

Tan, listening nearby, <b>couldn’t </b>help raising an eyebrow. “In that direction?” he thought.
He hadn’t even said which hotel they were staying at. How would Noah know if it was on the way?
“Could this guy be into charlotte? Was this his excuse to cozy up <b>to </b>her?” he wondered.
His eyes flicked between <b>Noal </b>and Charlotte, full of curiosity <b>and </b>suspicion
Just <b>as </b>Charlotte was about to refuse <b>again</b>, Sean suddenly spoke.
