Chapter 76
Donald, Gina, and Steven exchanged a look.
“You guys really are-” Olivia’s voice was low but carried a weight of authority. “So naive.”

Even without her prior preparations, Andrew would be watching public opinion closely. There was no way she’d end up in jail.
Steven hadn’t expected Olivia to be so determined. His eyes filled with hate. “Fine. Then let’s all go to hell together.”
“Sure.” Olivia sneered. “See you at the police station.”
Her words hit Steven right where he wanted. He rolled his eyes and gave a triumphant smile.
He hadn’t wasted his time these past years. The Magnolia Division was full of his men. Steven believed once they got to the station, Olivia wouldn’t get away.
He muttered, “Then I’ll just throw her in with that arrogant guy from a few days ago.”
Donald had given up hoping Olivia would give the antidote. His eyes were bloodshot, and all he could think about was killing her.
He believed people were weak. Once Olivia was near death, she’d beg them for mercy. Then he’d make her hand over the antidote before killing her–to settle his grudge.
With that thought, Donald summoned all his strength and shouted, “As!”
As he finished, a huge dog, half a person tall, appeared at the door. Its eyes were ckened red, mouth wide open, drooling, growling low in its throat.
“Go tear her apart!” Donald ordered. The dog, named As, immediately charged at Olivia. In a sh, it leapt forward, ready to bite.
Ang gasped, suddenly remembering that Donald and the others kept a big dog here.
As was usually sent to hunt down women who had escaped. Those caught were often crippled. Their fate was always to be harvested for organs and left to die.
Ang instinctively tried to grab Olivia but missed.
Olivia moved quickly and smoothly, her face serious. She pulled out a pouch of powder from her bag and scattered it generously into As’s eyes.
As froze instantly; its red eyes began to return to normal.
Olivia’s gaze sharpened like a hawk’s. She stepped forward with confidence and power behind

move.
As, pressured by her steady approach, backed away uncontrobly. Its posture grew more hunched, letting out fearful whines.
Olivia’s voice was calm butmanding. “Step aside.”
Her tone was so imposing it sent chills down spines.
At that moment, As seemed to see something terrifying. Shaking on all four legs, it immediately turned and fled–running fast without daring to look back.
Donald was stunned. He had raised As for years, feeding it human meat just to train it to attack. Even he sometimes got spooked by the dog.
But today, As just ran away like that.
“As,e back!” Donald shouted again and again, but the dog didn’t return.
Animals were sharp. As sensed danger from Olivia. Anyone who crossed her was doomed.
“Tell me, where’s the person you’re holding captive?” Olivia asked nonchntly.
From Steven and the others‘ words, she knew a man who came to rescue someone was locked up here. Since he was an ally trying to help, she couldn’t ignore him.
Gina had been under the drug the longest. Now she had barely a breath left. All she felt besides hate for Olivia was regret–she regretted listening to Nydia and tricking Olivia here.
Steven kept his face cold and stared hard at Olivia. He wanted to be angry, but he didn’t dare move -he was afraid she’d turn on him next.
No one said a word. Olivia lost patience. She grabbed Donald by the cor and choked him until his neck turned red. “Tell me where he is. Don’t make me ask twice.”
“L–let him go!” a child’s trembling voice called from the doorway.
It was Bobby, Donald and Gina’s son. He wasn’t the same dull kid anymore; his eyes were clear and sharp, not the slow kid everyone had thought.
“Miss, please spare my parents,” he said, bowing politely to Olivia. “They are old. They can’t take this kind of harm.”
Olivia ignored him and tightened her grip, making it hard for Donald to breathe,
“Miss!” Bobby’s voice grew more urgent. “My dad’s health is bad. He really can’t take-
“If he can’t take it, do you think the women he tricked here could?” Olivia cut him off, annoyed. Her brow knit and anger grew.

“Your parents trick people, traffic them, force girls into surrogacy and egg donation. Isn’t that the truth? I’m getting rid of harm for the people,” she continued.
“And you aren’t you tired of pretending to be dumb?” She nced at Bobby like she’d already seen through him. “Don’t tell me you didn’t know what your parents do.”
Bobby bit his lip and had no answer.
Oliva was right. He knew about his parents‘ crimes, but they were his parents. He couldn’t stop them. He’d yed dumb and acted crazy, cursing and hitting the women to make them leave.
Donald forced himself up and grabbed Olivia’s hands, his face turning purple. “You bitch–don’t- don’t you dare hurt my son!”
Olivia kicked him. He flew back and mmed hard into the table.
Donald coughed violently, spitting ck blood again and again.
Before he could catch his breath, Olivia walked up to him.
She grabbed his cor, pressed the surgical knife to his neck, and waved it at Bobby. “Do you want to watch your dad get killed, or will you take me to the man he has locked up? Your choice.”
Her red lips lifted in a dangerous, tempting smile that made it hard to look away.
Bobby turned pale.
“Son, I’m fine. Don’t–don’t listen to her…” Donald coughed harder, his face ashen. “That man can’t be let go!”
The man they held had a lot of evidence against them. If he got away, Donald and the others would
be ruined.
The government had sent people before to check on them, but they had been fooled. If not for their mistake this time, they’d never be caught.
Olivia’s eyes went icy. A strange, chilling smile crossed her face. “Looks like you already made your choice.”
She jabbed the de into Donald’s neck. A thin line of blood began to seep out.
Bobby, too young to watch his father hurt, crouched down and clutched his head, trembling.
Finally he screamed, “I’ll take you! The key’s in my mom’s pocket.”
“Bobby!” Donald cried out in despair.
Gina couldn’t say anything. She stared, knowing it was over.

Steven quietly pulled out a device and tried to send a signal for help.
“He’s trying to call for backup!” Ang said, watching closely and noticing right away.
