Chapter 90
The boy grumbled silently about Olivia’s favoritism.
He was really unhappy that Olivia only took Sean–the foodie guy with her, but not him. Finally, he got assigned a mission, and now she was calling in others. It all felt very boring to him.
The woman looked at him and shook her head helplessly.
Olivia nced at Andrew behind her but gave up on signaling.
With him around, there was no need to use the Shadow Security Division.
“I’m not leaving,” Edward shook his head, worry evident in his eyes as he looked at Olivia. “If I go, what will you do?”
‘Don’t worry, I have bodyguards,” Olivia raised an eyebrow and nodded toward Andrew standing behind her.
Then Olivia turned to Andrew, arms crossed, one eyebrow raised, a faint smile ying on her lips.
“Stop pretending to be cool and get to work.”
Andrew took the cue and waved his hand. All the inclothes officers sprang into action, quickly surrounding Paul and the others.
They moved swiftly, their guns in hand making the scene quite intimidating.
The townsfolk were finally scared. They had never seen such arge force before.
“Mr. Lowell, what now?” Some of the townsfolk hushed their previous arrogance, feeling uneasy.
“Afraid? I’m still a police chief. Who dares mess with me?” Paul wasn’t scared at all upon seeing the officers. These people weren’t even around when he was a cop.
“We’re all-” Before he could finish, a woman suddenly surged out from the crowd and mmed Paul to the ground
Paul cried out in pain and looked up. “Who are you? How dare you touch me?”
The fair–faced woman showed her badge without a smile. “Ava Sallowyn, Captain of the First Homicide Squad in Hirica, badge number 004. I’m cing Paul Lowell, Steven Lewis, Gina Johnson, and others under arrest by order of my superiors.

“Please cooperate with our investigation.”
Seeing the woman’s face, Paul’s eyes went wide. “It can’t be you.”
This woman was none other than Sally, Donald’s family nanny.
No one would have guessed she was a homicide captain.
Paul had once held a glimmer of hope. Even if arrested, he thought he could find a way out.
He had it all nned: using the fact that his son saved Richard, he’d pressure Richard to bail him out, then stir up the townsfolk–eventually he’d be free.
But now, hearing the name “Homicide Squad,” he knew he was done for.
He didn’t understand why the Monroe family, the homicide squad, and this mysterious group of inclothes officers would all be involved in a missing person case involving just one young woman.
Andrew walked up beside Olivia, a calm yet graceful smile curling at the corner of his mouth. “Will youe, or should 1?”
“Youe. I’m tired,” Olivia waved her hand and, in one smooth motion, kicked Paul in the back of
the knee, dropping him to the ground.
Paul trembled as he looked at Andrew, a rising tide of fear washing over him.
Andrew was strikingly handsome, exuding elegance and an extraordinary aura. Two buttons of his cor were undone, revealing a hint of danger beneath his refined exterior.
“Paul Lowell, right?” Andrew crouched down, took a dagger from Ethan’s hand, and lifted Paul’s chin. “The Evans family has a message for you.”
“What–what message?” Paul’s face flickered with surprise. He couldn’t understand how Andrew would know about the Evans family behind Magnolia Town.
The Evans family was a secret known to very few. Paul began to doubt Andrew’s true identity.
“They want you dead.” Andrew’s eyes narrowed, a dangerous gleam flickering within them, his voice. low and rough.
“You bullied Olivia, and Andrew’s mercy in just killing you is more than enough,” Jenny said, hugging Olivia’s leg and making a mocking face at Paul.
Ethan, standing next to Andrew, was struck dumb. He wanted to remind Jenny this was a nationwide livestream.

But Andrew remained unfazed, his voice casual. “You helped the viin, abducting my doctor. Asking for your life isn’t too much, is it?”
Paul saw murderous intent in Andrew’s eyes and quickly turned to Richard for help. “Mr. Stone, save me! I don’t want to die. My son saved your life.”
But Richard didn’t dare get involved. He just prayed he wouldn’t get dragged into this mess.
Andrew sneered. “Your son saved him? Paul, you’ve lied to Richard for years, even fooled yourself. Want me to remind you how your son died?”
Hearing that, Paul’s face drained of color. He couldn’t fathom how Andrew knew that secret.
Andrew gave Ethan a subtle nod.
Ethan immediately took the tablet and read aloud, “Eric Lowell, son of Paul Lowell, resident of Magnolia Town, had been arrested multiple times for crimes including public indecency. He died seven years ago, cause of death-”
Ethan paused, stunned by the shocking cause of death listed.
Clearing his throat, he continued professionally, “Cause of death was excessive intake of sildenafil,
resulting in severe vasodtion, acute coronary syndrome, and heart failure.”
Sildenafil ismonly known as a drug used to treat erectile dysfunction.
Richard’s eyes widened, and he was stunned for a long moment. Only then did he realize Eric hadn’t died saving him after all.
Ethan went on, “The mudslide incident was staged by Paul and Eric to fake the appearance that Eric sacrificed himself to save Richard. In reality, Eric died a day after the mudslide.”
Paul waspletely dumbfounded. He couldn’t understand how Andrew and Ethan knew so much.
The townsfolk didn’t know who Andrew was, but seeing the fleet of vehicles, they guessed he wasn’t ordinary.
They thought, ‘This guy can call so many men here, and yet he’s just that girl’s patient? Then that girl must be truly terrifying!
Realizing that some had even nned to send Olivia for egg donation and surrogacy, the townsfolk suddenly felt a wave of fear.
Steven briefly came to his senses. Now, he was filled with regret.

Hidden in the crowd, Gina’s mind was in chaos, unable toprehend the situation. She had thought. Olivia was just an ordinary poor student–easy to fool, and could be bought off with some money.
Nydia had also said Olivia wasn’t the real daughter of the Sherman family, hated by them, and had been kicked out to live miserably with an olddy.
Now Gina wished she could kill Nydia.
She didn’t understand what kind of person Nydia had brought to her. All she knew was that Magnolia Town was finished this time. They were all finished.
Suddenly, Gina felt a wave of difort. Warm blood sprayed from her throat.
The fierce pain swept through her body again. She felt her strength drain away and immediately copsed, startling those around her.
“Gina, what’s wrong?”
“Why are you coughing up blood?”
“She usually seems fine–what’s going on?”
Gina clutched her chest, unclear about what was happening. She thought she had recovered.
Suddenly, she noticed something, looked up, and locked eyes with Olivia’s half–smiling, half–serious
gaze.
Olivia also noticed Gina, slightly parted her lips, and mouthed, “Rest in peace.”
Gina couldn’t speak anymore. Blood stained her clothes as she red viciously at Olivia, slowly losing
consciousness.
Before her breath stopped, her eyes remained fixed tightly on Olivia.
