“Full control Reba asked, taking over the tablet.

dictor replied with his usual polite smile, “Yes”

Reba tapped and swiped on the screen. Aside from her, there were other names insted–Jeffrey, Andrea, Victor, and the household staff. Most of them only had ess to go in and out of the main gate.

Reba scrolled to Jeffrey’s profile, but no matter how she searched, she couldn’t find any way to remove

    him.

“Mr. Hanson was afraid you’d kick him out, so he made himself the second owner. You can delete anyone except him.” Victor exined quickly, unable to help but admire Jeffrey’s spot–on instincts.

Reba couldn’t help but think, I knew Jeffrey was scheming something/

“He said this ce was supposed to be mine, Andrea blurted out, unable to hide her frustration. She just couldn’t bear that Reba was the owner. “Why does she get

“That’s a question for Mr. Hanson. I’m just the butler, Victor said, keeping his tone deliberately distant.

Reba scrolled to Andrea’s profile and, without a second thought, deleted her ess to the main gate and

    the vi

From now on, no one would open the door for Andrea. Even if she stood outside the gate shouting through a megaphone, Reba wouldn’t hear a thing

“Please escort Ms. Scott out, Reba said, handing the tablet back to Victor. She didn’t even bother to look at Andrea again. “If she causes a scene like this outside the gate again, have the bodyguards throw her out.”

Victor replied cheerfully, “Yes, Ms. Jensen.”

Reba turned her back and walked off, not even bothering to acknowledge Andrea

Andrea couldn’t stand Reba’s high–and–mighty attitude. She snapped. “You haven’t changed–still bossing people around like college days.”

“Apologies, Ms. Jensen, for making you listen to that nonsense, Victor said swiftly, and then ordered the nearby bodyguards, “Get her out of here.”

    “Wait, Reba said, turning around.

Victor looked a bit puzzled, stopping short. “Ms. Jensen…”

Reba stepped right up to Andrea, staring her down.

“If I really wanted to throw my weight around, I’d have them pin you to the ground, make you beg me for forgiveness, then toss you out of Jsburg, Reba said coolly. “That, Andrea, is real bullying. Catch my

    drift?”

“You wouldn’t dare!” Andh ea snapped.

“Care to test me. Andrea Reba’s voice was cold and unflinching.

Andrea started to feel uneasy. Reba used to be all gentle andid–back, but with the mess going ontely, she was unsure what Reba would actually

Tension peaked as a sleek ck sedan pulled up Jeffrey stepped out, sharp in a crisp shirt and tailored His long legs looked even slimmer, and his eyes scammed the uneasy scene

The moment Jeffrey appeared, Andrea’s confidence shot up. She couldn’t help calling out, “Jeffrey

Jeffrey’s lips pressed into a thin line as he strode forward. “What are you doing here?”

“I’m here for you,” Andrea said, marching right up to Jeffrey, her anger barely contained. “Reba just kicked me out. You said I was supposed to be thedy of this ce.”

Jeffrey kept his voice cold and firm. “Whoever’s name is on the deed owns this house.”

Andrea snapped, “Fine, then put my name on it!” <fn9aab> The rightful source is find(?)ovel</fn9aab>

Jeffrey’s eyes stayed locked on Andrea. “You sure about that?”

Andrea hesitated, suddenly realizing what he meant. If she took it, she’d be trading away the favor he owed her, and after that, they’d be done with each other.

Reba’s manor was in a ss of its own. Jeffrey had spent hundreds of millions, sparing no expense. Every detail was perfect; even thewn’s trees cost tens of thousands each.

“Ms. Jensen, would you like me to show her out?” Victor asked softly, breaking the tense silence.

“I’m done with you ying caretaker. Let’s change things, Andrea said before Reba could say anything. Sheid her goal bare. “I want you to sleep with me–no protection, nothing between us. Make it real.”

Everyone on the spot, Victor, Tommy, Reba, and Barry, was stunned.

Reba’s eyes locked on Jeffrey, her mind racing. He’s always the honorable type, so how’s he gonna handle this? If he backs out now, everything he’s done would just be a joke.

“After this, we’re settled. No more favors, no interference,” Andrea dered, totally ying hardball. She knew she was crazy fertile and right in her ovtion window. Her odds were basically maxed out.

Andrea calcted, thinking, ‘If I set the no–interference rule now, even if I get pregnant, Jeffrey won’t force me to abort. He’s obsessed with keeping promises. Once the baby’s born, I can demand support.

“The courts won’t care about our deals. It all works for me. As for I pretending to be his benefactor, Jeffrey won’t catch on anytime soon.

‘And even if he does, once I have the child, he’ll think twice beforeing after me, with the kid as leverage.

“So? What’s your answer?” Andrea demanded.

“My promise to you was to look after you, to keep you safe for life, Jeffrey replied, every word cool and precise. That doesn’t include sacrificing my body

Anger burned in Andrea’s chest. She wanted to fight back but drew a nk. When he vowed to protect her until she healed, he never slept with her, and that chance was long gone.

“If that’s all, I’ll have someone drive you home, Jeffrey said, unfazed.

Andrea burned with anger and shame. No one could endure this much humiliation. “Restore my ess! What if something happens and I need to find you? I can’t be left out on the street.”

Determined to make things hard for Reba, she added, “Did you forget you promised to always take care of

“My wife has full authority over this house. Jeffrey replied, slow and unhurried. “It’s not my call.”

“Jeffrey!” Andrea snapped. She could tell he was just ying games with her.

“Enough. This is getting annoying. Reba said coldly to Victor. “Get her out of here.”

“Right away, Ms. Jensen, Victor replied.

Seeing Jeffrey standing there, Reba gave a sharpmand. “Both of them. Out.”

Victor automatically shot a nce at Jeffrey, waiting for his reaction.

Jeffrey strode over to Reba. “Reba…“

Reba shot Victor a cold sideways nce. “If ‘full control‘ doesn’t mean I get to manage everyone around here, then forget it. Take it back. I don’t want it.”

“Mr. Hanson, maybe you should spend the night at a hotel, Victor suggested, sly as ever. “It’s Ms. Jensen’s first day in charge. Let her actually have the satisfaction of calling the shots.”

    Jeffrey frowned, saying nothing.

Victor added, “Come back tomorrow, sir. We can officially kick off the dual management system then.”

Jeffrey walked up to Reba, clearly about to say something.

But before he could even open his mouth, Tommy stepped in front, blocking him. “Mr. Hanson, you’re gonna have to leave. Ms. Jensen doesn’t want you here right now.”

“You’ve got guts, huh?” Barry barked, yanking Tommy aside. “Need I remind you whose money you’re cashing?”

“Mr. Hanson told me to do whatever Ms. Jensen says. If she wants you gone, that’s my job, Tommy replied, totally serious. I’m just following orders. Nothing wrong with that”

Barry was at a loss for words.

Tommy looked straight at Jeffrey, not backing down. Or what, Mr. Hanson, are you going back on your word

    now?”
