Leo returned to the private room and saw that Charles’s gentle expression had disappeared because of Ynda’s departure. He was holding a drink, swirling it, lost in thought.
With Ynda here earlier, no one spoke loudly about Lily. Now that she’s gone, someone noticed Leo enter and asked loudly.
“Leo, your uncle must be furious right now. Marrying a woman from the Grant family who cheats–that’s a rare kind of trouble.”
“Hahaha, I heard your uncle was so mad he wanted to bring a new wife home that very night.”
Leo waved his hand impatiently, his handsome face full of irritation, “Get lost!”
He sat down next to Charles, pursed his lips, thought for several seconds, then said, “Charles.”
Charles slightly lifted his eyes.
“Hmm?”
Leo swallowed hard, hesitated for a few seconds, unsure how to say it.
Damn it, he couldn’t just say he had just been kissed by your wife, right?
He’d get beaten up by Charles for that.
Charles may not care about Ynda, but she is his possession.
At least, as long as she holds the title of Mrs. Sinir, no one dares to cheat on him–doing so would be suicide.
Leo felt extremely frustrated and gritted his teeth, “It’s nothing. I just warned you because I’m worried Ynda might cheat too.”
Charles squinted his eyes and chuckled lightly, “Mm.”
Leo knew he didn’t take it seriously.

Not long after Ynda’s car pulled away, she noticed two cars following behind.
Thinking it might be her imagination, she nced through the rearview mirror and saw the two cars trying to trap her from both sides, seemingly forcing her onto a side road.
She gritted her teeth, mmed the elerator to the floor, and sharply turned the steering wheel.
The two cars scraped against each other, sparking and making harsh screeching noises.
She wasn’t afraid, especially after clearly understanding the rules of this circle; she only had the desire to climb higher.

The weak get beaten.
When she wanted to climb higher, even if someone threw stones at her head, she wasn’t afraid.

There was always a strong will deep in her bones, but because she loved Charles, she kept it down and behaved obediently until now.
Her car was suddenly forced to stop by a trucking from the opposite direction.
Several burly men got out of the truck, dragged her out, covered her nose with a handkerchief, and she fainted.
When she woke up again, she opened her eyes and saw Vivian standing in front of her.
Vivian looked down at a man beside her and said, “Charles, thank you.”
The man said nothing and just turned around, closing the door behind him.
Vivian chuckled twice and then raised her hand, pping hard.
Ynda’s cheek instantly showed a few red marks, and blood stained the corners of her mouth.
Her hair was grabbed harshly.
Vivian stared at this disheveled face, eyes full of malice. “You don’t really think I’d let you off just because you drank a ss of wine, do you? Ynda, if you can’t keep a man like Charles, then you’re the real disgrace.”
Ynda said nothing, her eyes fixed on her.
Vivian frowned and pped her twice more. “I really hate your gaze. Keep looking at me like that and see if I don’t gouge your eyes out!”
“Do you dare?”
A sh of irritation crossed Vivian’s eyes, but she definitely didn’t dare.
Ynda had just made her angry and got into trouble; everyone would definitely suspect her.
She took a deep breath and kicked Ynda hard in the stomach. “Disgrace! Remember this, Ynda–you’re the real disgrace!”
Ynda felt sweat break out on her forehead from the pain, her lips trembling as she silently counted the
number of kicks.
Ten times, she will repay tenfold in the future.
