Chapter 62
Leo’s face darkened; unlike Ian’s cold and stunning looks, Leo was more of an arrogant rich kid. The Lawson residence spoiled him, as reflected even in his name. He hadn’t suffered much or been threatened like this since childhood.
His chest heaved several times, and he evenughed angrily, “Just you wait, damn it! Just you wait–I won’t let this go!”
After that, he made a call and quickly got the surveince footage.
Ynda sat on the sofa, watching the footage inside and out at least ten times. Ian was shrouded in darkness, only his eyes visible. He even deliberately wore severalyers of clothes, making his figure look somewhat off.
If she hadn’t known it was Ian, she wouldn’t have recognized him either.
She breathed a sigh of relief and then realized her back was covered in a cold sweat.
Even if this video falls into the hands of the Andrade manor, they won’t be able to link it to Ian.
She stood up to leave, but a hand stopped her in her tracks.
“You’re so eager to get the surveince footage–does this really have something to do with you?”
She didn’t answer. The next second, her shoulder was pushed hard, and she nearly felt her arm dislocate.
“You little prude, I underestimated you before. You’re capable of a forceful kiss. Don’t think that groping me means you’ll get away unscathed. Do you think I have that kind of patience?”
“Then you can kiss me back.”
“Kiss you? Damn it! Don’t disgust me, Ynda. I’m going to kill you today!”
Ynda took out her phone calmly and said, “Fine, I’ll text Charles right now, telling him I cheated, that I’m infatuated with his brother, and want a divorce.”
Leo broke into a sweat, and his anger instantly cooled down, like a boiling volcano doused by a heavy rain.
He messed up oncest time, and now he messed up again.
Fuming, he grabbed the sofa tightly, his ears flushed red. “That damn kiss was my first!”
He shouted that sentence, paused for a few seconds, then turned around abruptly, “Get lost! You better pray you don’t fall into my hands.”
Ynda was a bit surprised but didn’t say anything else. <fn46e7> Newest update provided by find{n}ovel</fn46e7>
So what if it was the first kiss? Just his bad luck.
The Andrade manor got the footage at noon, but the camera only showed a tall, bulky figure—no clear view

Cedric Andrade angrily threw his phone on the ground. “Investigate! Find out who the hell it is!”
If anyone dares to treat his sister like that, if he finds out…
A cold glint shed in his eyes, and his face turned ashen.
It couldn’t be Ynda–she was still at the hospital recently, and Charles was on a business trip. Could Vivian have offended someone in the past?
He can only wait for Vivian to wake up now.
If his sister ends up in a vegetative state, he will stir up all of Beloris just to find the culprit!
Tommy came out from the side, took off his mask, and said, “The surgery went smoothly. She won’t be a vegetable and should wake up by tomorrow.”
Cedric Andrade breathed a sigh of relief; once Vivian wakes up, she should know who it was.
With more than a dozen bottles smashed on her head, she definitely saw the attacker’s face clearly.
Ynda was still worried and asked Ian several times, “Are you sure she didn’t get a good look at your face?”
“Yeah, I had my face covered.”
She had just finished checking the surveince footage and soon heard that Vivian would wake up shortly.
There were no issues with the surveince, but when it came to Vivian, she didn’t dare to take any chances.
She gritted her teeth, saw the sky darkening outside, and was about to leave.
She had to find a way to deal with Vivian and make sure there was no chance of her waking up.
She had been going through Vivian’s files for a week. When Vivian previously guarded Michael Finnian, he wasn’t very willing, so she ordered someone to break one of his legs.
Since then, Michael Finnian’s career fell apart, spending his days drowning in alcohol.
Ynda found the person’s current residence and was about to get in the car whenn stuck like chewing
gum.
“I’m going with you.”
Ynda looked ahead, her tone cold. “Pretend nothing ever happened between us. Ian, you’re still you’re about to join Ms. Sinir’s crew. Your future is bright. Don’t do anything so risky again.”
After saying that, she was about to hit the gas, but Ian grabbed the window and stared at her deeply.

“That was just a spur of the moment. I was upset with my husband and needed to vent. I’ve liked Charles for fifteen years, and I still do. I won’t get a divorce. I love him deeply.”
His fingertips slowly released from the window frame. He pressed his lips together and bowed his head. “I understand.”
