Leo stood outside the women’s restroom, listening for any sounds. When he heard nothing, he quietly walked

in.

Suddenly, a man’s voice echoed inside.
Leo froze, his mind nk. Before he could react, a strange woman appeared at the entrance.
She looked up at the sign above the door, her face instantly darkening. “Are you a pervert or something? Trying to take pictures in here? I’m calling security!”
Leo had never been this embarrassed in his life. It was all that damn Ynda’s fault.
He kept his head down and hurried out, but he could still hear the woman cursing behind him. “I just don’t get what kind of sick thrill you get from spying on women in the bathroom. Why can’t creeps like you just disappear already?”
Leo’s face was dark with anger. By the time he got back to the private room, he was in a foul mood.
He saw Charles still chatting andughing with Samuel, the whole group looking like business elites. Leo couldn’t help but feel a stab of jealousy and think bitterly, ‘Your wife’s off in the bathroom with some pretty boy, and here you are, chatting away like nothing’s wrong.‘
He hated Ynda. He should’ve just dragged Charles over there and ruined her reputationpletely, show her what happens when you stab Charles in the back.
But instead, he just sat there quietly, his heart pounding like he was the one sneaking around.
He grabbed a ss of water from the table and took a couple of sips, trying to hide how rattled he was. But his mind kept spinning. What the hell were Ynda and that pretty boy doing in the bathroom?
‘Did they kiss?‘ Leo wondered, jealousy gnawing at him.
‘Or did they do something else?‘ The thought made his chest tighten.
‘No way
she’d go that far, not with everyone else on the same floor. That kind of thing takes time, Leo thought bitterly. At most, maybe it was just a quick hand job.‘
‘Her hands are definitely soft enough for that,‘ Leo couldn’t help but think.
He wanted to smack himself. ‘What the fuck am I even thinking?‘ Leo cursed himself, feeling like a total idiot.
He chugged the rest of his water, his heart racing so fast he could barely catch his breath.
Five minutester, Ynda walked back in.
Her makeup was still untouched, and her hair was perfectly neat–she looked exactly the same as when she
left.

She sat down next to Charles, hershes lowered as she quietly ate her food, asionally listening in on the
men’s conversation.
No one would ever suspect she’d just been messing around with another man.
Leo felt off, a weird restlessness gnawing at him, and he couldn’t even figure out why.
When he left the private room again, he thought to himself, ‘Seriously, what the hell is wrong with me?‘
He walked into the men’s restroom and saw that pretty boy standing at the sink, washing his hands.
Leo had moved into the same apartmentplex as Ian, but thest few times they’d run into each other, the lighting had been dim, and he hadn’t really gotten a good look at the guy’s face.
Now, with the bright lights, he could see him clearly.
The guy was young, probably just in his early twenties, with this weird mix of innocence and maturity that was kind of charming. His face was seriously good–looking–easily on par with Charles, maybe even better.
No wonder Ynda was sopletely taken with him.
Ian could feel Leo staring at him. He finished washing his hands slowly, then grabbed a paper towel to dry
them.
Leo scoffed, crossing his arms. “Looking all put together, but you’re just another loser chasing after a married woman. Seriously, don’t you know she’s already taken?”
Ian tossed the paper towel into the trash can and replied coolly, “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“Quit pretending. I saw you two kissing in the women’s restroom,” Leo said, his toneced with disdain.
Ian looked up, his face still cold, but there was a mocking glint in his eyes. “Is she your wife?”
Leo stiffened, then snapped back, “She’s not my wife! I just can’t stand watching you two. You and her? That’s never gonna end well. Do yourselves a favor and break it off now.”
Leo had no idea what got into him, but he suddenly stepped forward and blockedn’s path.
They were about the same height, but Leo carried this unique, almost regal arrogance from a lifetime of being pampered.
But somehow, it just made him more intriguing instead of annoying.
Ian’s eyes darkened, but Leo held his gaze. “Seriously, you’re not gonna break up with her? Don’te crying to me when you regret it.”
“Not breaking up, not regretting it. You done here?”n shot back, his voice icy.
Leo was suddenly at a loss for words–this guy was really something else.

‘Ynda’s nothing special. I honestly don’t get what kind of spell she’s put on this guy, Leo thought bitterly.
“Look, man, I’m telling you this for your own good. She’s got a husband, and he’s seriously top–tier. She’s probably just messing around with you for a thrill. Don’t fall too deep, or you’ll be the one left in the dust when she goes running back to her husband. She’s been into him for fifteen years, you know? Bet you didn’t know that, huh?” Leo said, trying to knock some sense into him.
“Are you finished?” Ian said, his brows drawing together, a rare edge of impatience in his voice.
“You-” Leo blurted out, about to say more.
Butn interrupted him. “I was the one who went after her. I made the first move. I’m not expecting anything in return.”
With that, Ian stepped around him and walked out.
Leo lingered for a moment before heading back to the private room. By the time he returned, the group was nearly finished with their conversation.
Charles was dressed in a sharp gray suit, exuding both elegance and warmth. He leaned in close to Ynda, whispered something in her ear, and then gently bit her lips, the gesture intimate and unmistakable.
Leo sat across from them, hisshes lowered, staring absentmindedly at his ss, lost in his own thoughts.
He couldn’t help but think, ‘Charles has no idea those pretty lips were just bitten by another man.‘
Leo knew deep down that no guy would ever be cool with that.
But the more he dwelled on it, the hotter his chest felt, like ants crawling all over him.
He swallowed hard, and then he heard Xavier’s voice. “Let’s go. What are you still doing sitting there?”
Leo looked up and saw that everyone had already stood up. He quickly got to his feet.
As they stepped into the elevator, Charles had Ynda tucked under his arm.
Just as the doors were about to close, they suddenly slid open again. Standing outside was the director from earlier, with Ian right behind him. <fn3f30> ???s ??????? ?s ?????? ?? FιndNovel</fn3f30>
The director’s face lit up with surprise. “Small world! Mr. Sinir, Ms. Grant, Mr. Lawson, you guys finished eating too?”
Charles nodded, and everyone shuffled aside to make room for them.
The director and Ian joined them in the elevator.
Ynda felt her heart pounding so hard it was practically in her throat. With Charles on her right and Ian on her left, it felt like she was smack in the middle of an emotional warzone.
She could even feeln’s fingertips graze hers in a teasing way, right under Charles’s nose.
Ynda quickly pulled her hand back and clung to Charles’s arm with both hands.
Charles nced down at her and smiled. “What’s wrong? Cold?”

Ynda looked uneasy, and just as she was about to make up an excuse, the elevator suddenly jolted. The lights overhead flickered twice, then went out all of a sudden.
You’ve got to be kidding me,‘ Ynda thought, her heart pounding.
She squeezed her eyes shut, and in the confusion, she suddenly felt two hands on her waist.
She couldn’t tell which one belonged to Charles and which to Ian. She wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear.
