The car door mmed shut, and Ynda was pulled tightly into Ian’s arms.
Ian buried his face in her neck, inhaling deeply, as if trying to memorize her scent.
Outside, people were bustling around the set,ing and going. Ynda felt a bit uneasy and raised her hand to gently push Ian away.
But Ian was already tracing her neck with his teeth, slowly and deliberately, his touch lingering on her skin.
“Ian Foster!” Ynda snapped, her voice sharp with embarrassment.
Ynda snapped, her voice tight with embarrassment. Ian quickly let go, looking up at her, his eyes burning with longing–there was no way to hide how he felt. <fn8cec> N?w ?ovel chapt?rs are published on fin?novel</fn8cec>
Ynda straightened her clothes, then asked with a teasing smile, “Do you like it? The studio put this look together just for you. I’ll be spending a lot more time with you from now on, so just focus on your acting for now. Your fame is growing, but you still need some real work to back it up–it’s just hype for now.”
Ian pulled her into his arms again, holding her close. “Mm–hmm,” he murmured, not wanting to let go.
Ynda reached up and gently pinched his ear. “Alright, Zack White’s show is already airing, and the ratings are looking good. The photos from that coffeemercial you did just came out too. For your next endorsements, I’ll help you pick carefully–we’re aiming for you to be seen as a real actor, not just a pretty face. I don’t want you to burn through your hype too soon.”
If Ian got lumped in with the idol actors, his poprity would run out sooner orter, and it’d be tough for him <i>to </i>switch gears and be a serious actor down the line.
Right now, Ian was juggling two roles with totally different personalities, and he was pulling off both with ease. The sky was the limit for him now.
“Ynda, I just got a flood of new fans all of a sudden. Shouldn’t we celebrate?” Ian said, his voice low and yful.
He’d brought it up yesterday too, and today Ynda finally had some free time, so she whipped out her phone and started searching for somewhere good to eat nearby.
But Ian leaned in, his lips almost brushing her ear as he whispered, “Does that spot down there miss me?”
Ynda’s hand trembled, and she almost dropped her phone, but Ian was quick and caught it before it could
fall.
His long fingers curled around the phone, and he fixed her with those dark, starry eyes.
“I’m thirsty,” he murmured, his tone full of mischief.
Ynda’s cheeks went scarlet. She still wasn’t used to sneaking around with Ian like this, especially behind Charles’s back and out in public.
‘Honestly,n makes a pretty damn good side guy,‘ Ynda thought to herself.

Ynda felt her whole body flush with heat. She shoved Ian away, got out, and marched straight to the driver’s seat. Without another word, she mmed her foot on the gas.
Ian caught a glimpse of her through the gap in the seat, then leaned back, closed his eyes, and let a small smile tug at his lips.
Ynda pulled up to Ian’s ce and grabbed a stack of scripts she’d gotten over the past couple of days.
These were all small–time projects, the kind that came in when the public opinion was still against Ian. The directors were just trying to cash in on his controversial reputation–good or bad, fame was still fame.
Ynda wasn’t impressed with any of them, but her studio was still small, and she didn’t want to burn any bridges. So she’d taken them all, figuring she might as well sift through them and see if anything stood out.
Ian watched as Ynda carefully sorted through the scripts. He crouched down beside her, looking up at her with a soft, almost needy gaze.
Ynda frowned, feeling his stare was a little tooplicated. “What’s with that look?” she asked.
Ian rested his hand on her knee. “How about we stop hiring new people? Let me be the one to make money for you.”
Guys in their twenties were always so damn possessive.
Ynda hadn’t really noticed it before, but now she finally saw it for what it was.
She held the script in her hand, her expression calm. “Say something like that again and I’ll just hire a new agent to keep you in line.”
Ian’s fingers tightened on her knee, and his lips pressed into a thin line.
He knew he was asking for too much.
‘Ynda’s just in this for fun,’ he thought to himself.
His gaze darkened. ‘Wasn’t she supposed to be the sweet, innocent type? Guess she can be pretty damn ruthless when she’s just ying around,’ he thought bitterly.
Ynda spent half an hour going through the scripts. When she noticedn had gone quiet, she could tell
she’d hit a nerve with what she said.
But honestly, she just wasn’t in the mood for any of that right now.
Ynda stood up and set the room key on the table. “Raclyn’s agent gave me this–it’s her idea. You can decide if you want to go. As your boss, I’m not going to force you to cozy up to anyone, but I also don’t want to keep you on such a tight leash that you never get to socialize with other women. Raelyn’s pretty picky—I checked, and there aren’t many guys she’d actually make a move on. So, think it over.”
After that, Ynda pulled out another card–it was her bank card.

“There’s two million dors in there. I’ll handle all your living expenses–food, clothes, rent, you name it. You’ve been rocking that all–ck looktely, and it suits you. Stick with the bad boy vibe it’ll
save you from those awkward moments with the press when you don’t know what to say.”
With his killer looks and solid acting,n could just stand there and the public would already forgive him for anything.
He didn’t even have to sweet–talk anyone–fans would flock to him no matter what.
Ian stared at the two cards on the table and didn’t say a word.
Ynda wasn’t expecting an answer from him just yet. She nced at her phone and said, “Raelyn’s waiting for you tonight. I’m in touch with her agent on WhatsApp–if you’re not nning to go, just give me a heads- up so I can let them know.”
Ian picked up the room key, his tone cool. “If I go sleep with someone else, I won’t really belong to you anymore. Would you still want me then?”
Ynda felt her throat tighten. Whenever the topic turned to men and women, Ian always made himself sound so unworthy.
Sometimes, she almost believed he actually cared about her.
But how could that be? Before she decided to get back to work, she’d only met Ian once–and she could barely even remember his face. They hadn’t even been in touch during their two–year marriage. There was no way he could actually have feelings for her.
She’d long since stopped expecting anything from men. Her career was all that mattered now.
But Ian was young, and he needed a straight answer. “Don’t you want to be my first?” he asked, his voice low and direct.
Even when Ynda was crazy about Charles, she never dared to be this blunt.
She pressed her lips together, saying nothing.
Ian set the room key down on the table and slowly pushed it back to her. “I’m not taking this,” he said, his voice low but firm.
Then he grabbed her bank card. “But this two million? Guess that makes me your kept man now.”
Ynda nearly forgot how to breathe.
