    Charlie reclined on his small bed on the floor, a gentle smile on his face. “Don’t worry! I’ll get a new car for Dad tomorrow morning!”

    Charlie chuckled, “The pleasure is all mine, my dear!”


    Suddenly, ire felt a blush creep onto her cheeks as she asked, “Aren’t you going to be cold sleeping on the floor?”


    Charlie quickly replied, “No, not at all! Seriously, I’m fine!”


    ire pouted in annoyance. “Then just go to sleep already! Dumdum!”


    She felt the urge to invite him to share the bed, but it seemed the ‘dumdum’ didn’t catch her hint…


    Realizing his mistake, Charlie hastily said, “Uh, dear, it’s really cold! I’m shivering!”

    Charlie felt a wave of regret wash over him.


    After a moment, he tried once more: “My dear, I think it’s getting colder. I’m really cold!”


    ire tossed a quilt onto the floor, eximing, “How cold can it be on a summer night? If it’s that bad, I’ll get you a jacket!”


    Charlie was disheartened and quietly scolded himself. It appeared that his wife had no intention of letting him sleep in bed tonight!

    Charlie made breakfast for her and handed her the car keys, saying, “Drive to the office today.”

    Jacob grinned widely. “I’ll be waiting at home! Remember, I want the BMW 530; don’t get it mixed up!”


    Charlieughed, nodding in agreement. “Don’t worry, Dad! I’ll make sure to get you that BMW 530 today!”


    With that, he went downstairs with ire. He opened the trunk of the BMW 760 and pulled out his little electric scooter.
