Lawson had not anticipated that acknowledging his mistakes would yield no relief. He had fainted from shock, but the agony from the impact jolted him back to consciousness in an instant.
“Ah!!!” Lawson had never endured such torment in his entire life.
Tears cascaded down the wrinkles on his face as he cried out in desperation, “Mr. Wade, it’s all my fault! I’ll never ignore her faults again; I won’t allow her tomit such despicable acts.”
With a look of disgust, Charlie replied, “Well, aren’t you skilled at shifting the me to others?”
That single remark sent shivers down Lawson Lewis’s spine.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Charlie then pressed on, “Lawson Lewis! Concerning the ten thousand dors my brother invested in your restaurant, why did you refuse to repay him? Why did you insist it was a gift?”
Lawson’s face went pale as he scrambled to exin, “I was wrong, I was greedy and shameless! I’m so sorry!”
Turning his gaze to Dous, who was fuming, Lawson pleaded, “Dous, I was blinded by my greed. I promise I’ll repay the ten thousand dors! Please, tell Mr. Wade to spare me! My old body can’t take this anymore…”
Charlie nced at Dous. “Are you going to assist him?”
Dous shook his head vehemently. “No! I won’t help anyone here!”
“Alright!” Charlie nodded in satisfaction. “That’s my man!”
He faced Lawson, who was drowning in despair. “Not only are you a terrible father, but you also tried to steal my brother’s life savings. What separates you from amon thief?”
Lawson sobbed, stumbling over his words. “Mr. Wade, I’m a monster! I’m inhumane! I deserve to go to hell! Please let me go, I’m begging you! I’ll do anything! I’ll call you Boss! Boss Wade, please spare me!”
Charlie let out a chillingugh. “Let you go? Hah! In your dreams, you ugly bastard!”<fncebc> ???s ??????? ?s ?????? ?? find{n}ovel</fncebc>
With that, he turned to Bill. “Cripple his right arm! Let’s see if he can still steal from others after this!”
In desperation, Lawson shouted, “No, Mr. Wade! Please, don’t…”
Bill swung his arm down with force, smashing Lawson’s arm.
“Ah, my arm… my arm!!!” Lawson cried out.
Charlie instructed Bill, “Shut him up and discard him!”
“Yes, sir!” Bill stuffed a ball of gauze into Lawson’s mouth and tossed him toward Zaz.
Lily was on the brink of insanity, as was Jerome.
Dn Hunt, Lawson’s father, was losing his mind as well. He turned to Jerome and pped him angrily. “You idiot! Who told you to mess around with someone else’s woman? Why did you drag me into this?”
Charlie smirked. “Why? Didn’t you realize your son was involved with my brother’s fiancée? Aren’t you supposed to be his father?”
Fearful for his life, Dn’s eyes brimmed with tears, utterly lost on how to respond. Lawson’s fate was a ring example of what awaited him.
If he admitted he knew, his right leg would be shattered; if he imed ignorance, his left leg would be crippled…
