The Amazing son in law Chapter 147

Shortly after, they finally arrived at the exhibition center.

The exhibition center featured a stunning building crowned with a circr dome. Surrounding the outer circle were numerous shops offering a diverse array of goods, ranging from flowers to birds, while the auction house was located at the very center.

Constructed justst year, the exhibition center was nothing short of magnificent.

Charlie followed Jasmine into the sleek ss elevator as they ascended to the sixth floor.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, they were greeted by an artistic exhibition hall adorned with various pieces of antique calligraphy and paintings hanging elegantly on the walls. This was the auction house.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

The auction table was prominently positioned at the front, set atop a luxurious red carpet. Beneath the stage, numerous sofas were arranged, and tables overflowed with fine wines and fresh fruits, ready for the enjoyment of the guests.<fn8bdb> Checktest chapters at f?i?n?d?n?o?v?e?l?</fn8bdb>

Inparison to the previous auction, it was clear that Treasure Pavilion had invested significant effort into this event. They likely spent over one million dors just to lease the space and arrange all the exquisite decorations for the auction.

Jasmine’s seat was located in the center of the front row, and just as they were about to move forward, a sudden uproar erupted from behind them.

Charlie turned to see a throng of people jostling to enter the auction hall, forcing him to step aside.

He frowned as he watched the crowd push their way in, noting that several bodyguards were leading the way.

“Oh, is Mr. Yaleman already here?” Jasmine eximed, her eyes fixed on the bustling crowd.

Indeed, the gathering consisted of distinguished guests attending the auction, all surrounding a middle-aged man dressed in a blue suit, who exuded an air of cold arrogance.

Charlie observed the man and remarked, “Ah, so this is the esteemed Mr. Yaleman. He certainly carries himself well…”

As the crowd continued to usher Jack forward, he suddenly scribbled something on a yellow piece of paper and handed it to a man beside him. In a nonchnt tone, he announced, “It seems fate has brought us together today. I’m giving you this peace talisman as a gift. It will ensure your safety and bring prosperity to you and your family.”

    “Thank you, Mr. Yaleman!”

The recipient was both surprised and ttered as he epted the talisman, cradling it like a precious treasure. He eagerly shared with those around him, “Mr. Yaleman’s peace talisman is truly remarkable. I’ve sought his services for years, and ever since I got his talisman, my business has flourished!”

The crowd looked on with envy. Some even yfully begged Jack for a talisman, but he chose to ignore them.

Jack’s assistant scoffed and shouted to the crowd, “Do you really think you can just get Mr. Yaleman’s talisman because you want it? People are paying at least two hundred thousand dors for each peace talisman from Mystery Court!”

There was a brief silence before someone in the crowd suddenly shouted.

“It’s a rare asion for Mr. Yaleman toe to Aurous Hill! I would dly pay two hundred thousand dors for a peace talisman. Please, Mr. Yaleman!”

“Me too! I want to buy one as well!”

“Getting a peace talisman from Mr. Yaleman is quite a feat! Two hundred thousand dors is nothing; I want five!”

The crowd buzzed with excitement, and many rushed to transfer money to Jack, eager to secure one of his talismans.

“Please form a line,” Jack’s assistant instructed, as he began registering them one by one amidst the chaotic scene.

At that moment, Charlie couldn’t help but exim, “What kind of peace talisman is that? It’s incredibly expensive! It’s quite a lucrative business.”

Though he spoke softly, Jack suddenly turned his attention to him, his brows furrowing in displeasure.

Jack pushed through the crowd and approached Charlie. “My friend, did I hear you questioning the value of my peace talisman?”

Charlie replied casually, “I simply believe no peace talisman in this world should carry such a hefty price tag.”

At that moment, someone from the crowd chimed in, “Who do you think you are? What do you know? Mr. Yaleman is selling his peace talisman for a mere two hundred thousand dors!”

“Yes, just two hundred thousand! That’s why everyone is lining up to buy one.”

“You can get a simr peace talisman for just two dors at the temple!”

Jack snorted at this and red at Charlie, “You can eat rice anytime, but that doesn’t mean you should spout nonsense here. People often talk without understanding what’s truly beyond their grasp.”

With that, Jack curled his lip in disdain and strode into the auction hall.

Charlie remained unfazed, his expression indifferent, as he knew Jack posed no threat to him at all.<h3 ss="has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
