The Amazing son in law Chapter 157

“A trick on the family? What do you mean?”

    Graham stood momentarily speechless.

Charlie was the only person who had recently made any changes to the Feng Shui of the Quinton household.

Having great faith in Charlie’s expertise, Graham quickly responded, “Mr. Yaleman, are you certain about this? Someone has indeed been working on the Feng Shui in my home—Mr. Wade. However, his methods seem to be effective so far. I don’t believe he would cast a spell or pull any tricks on us.”

Jack scoffed, then eximed, “There are people who masquerade as deities, and they’re particrly skilled at deceiving those who don’t know any better! If you choose to keep trusting him, then I will take my leave right now!”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

“Mr. Yaleman, please don’t go!” Graham said in a panic, trying to prevent Jack from leaving. “Could you please rify your concerns regarding his methods?”

In response, Jack pointed towards the hall without lifting his gaze. “Have someone bring me a bowl of water.”<fn6c2d> Read full story at findnovel</fn6c2d>

Graham promptly instructed a servant to fetch a bowl of clear water.

Once it arrived, Jack dipped his finger into the bowl and added several talismans to the water. Afterpleting this, he flicked the water towards Graham’s eyes.

As Graham blinked open his eyes, an overwhelming fear surged through him, prompting him to back away from Jack.

“Mr. Yaleman, what… what is happening?”

In an instant, Graham saw the Quinton family mansion shrouded in an ominousyer of ck smoke.

Above each family member loomed a wisp of lifeless gray smoke, their faces appearing as pale and expressionless as the undead!

Jack sneered and dered, “I am merely opening your eyes. What you’re witnessing is the future of the Quinton family. You all will soon meet your demise!”

Terrified, Graham copsed onto the sofa, muttering, “What can I do about this?”

“It seems fate has brought me here today, so I will assist you, as this appears to be our destiny,” Jack replied.

He then produced a peace talisman from his pocket and handed it to Graham.

As Graham grasped the talisman, he noticed it radiated a faint golden light. To his astonishment, the disturbing vision vanished, restoring everything to its former state the moment Jack transferred the talisman.

“This… this…” Graham was now drenched in cold sweat, urgently saying, “Mr. Yaleman, you truly are remarkable. Please, save the Quinton family and help us escape this misfortune! I’m willing to pay any price to rid ourselves of this bad luck!”

“My mission is to help others find peace, which is why I’m here today,” Jack replied.

Continuing, Jack took out a dozen more peace talismans and handed them to Graham. “Distribute these to all your family members and instruct them to keep them on their person at all times. This will help eliminate your misfortune.”

Graham epted the talismans but hesitated, asking, “How can I repay you for your kindness, Mr. Yaleman?”

Jack waved his hand dismissively, responding, “Helping someone remove their misfortune is a virtue in itself. I do not wish to ept any payment today. Just remember, if a con artist tries to persuade you into spending a fortune on some magical item, you must refuse without hesitation.”

At that moment, Adam, who had been standing beside Graham, interjected, “Father, look! I told you Charlie was a fraud! He took our family’s money and doesn’t even know what he’s doing! He must refund every penny he took! Otherwise, I’ll take legal action to ensure he spends the rest of his life in prison!”

Aurora frowned, contemting the situation. A nagging feeling arose within her, suggesting that Jack might be the one deceiving them.

While Charlie might have been a bit aloof andcking in emotional intelligence, he didn’t strike her as a bad person. In fact, he had a way of making her feel secure and warm, even without any overt actions.<h3 ss="has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
