The Amazing son in law Chapter 162

Mr. Yaleman simply smiled, choosing silence over words.

The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as everyone eagerly awaited the results.

As an hour flew by, Kai found himself lost in thought, a hint of nervousness creeping into his mind.

Then, out of nowhere, a loud bang echoed from the west! A powerful gust of wind swept through the garden, causing a slight tremor beneath their feet.<fn4e35> Th?s chapter is updated by Find★Novel</fn4e35>

Zeke nced at his phone, a grin spreading across his face. “ording to thetest news update, it seems someone attempted to move some quarry rocks, resulting in an explosion and a 2.4 magnitude earthquake in the west. The police have already apprehended the suspect.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Kai, who had been staring nkly, finally looked up, his earlier arrogance fading away. He smiled awkwardly and said, “Mr. Yaleman, you’re truly remarkable! I concede. Today, I, Kai Young, acknowledge my defeat to you. I will leave this banquet immediately.”

With that, Kai grabbed his jade and turned to exit.

“Wait!” Zeke called out suddenly. “Mr. Young, since you’ve participated in thispetition, you must adhere to the rules.”

“What rules are you talking about?” Kai responded, his face darkening.

“The rules state that if you lose, the victor is entitled to take something from you! Additionally, you must publicly dere your respect for Mr. Yaleman and agree to follow his instructions in the future.”

“That’s absurd! This is just a banquet. There’s no way I’m letting you take my magic weapon! And I won’t be following anyone’s orders!”

Kai’s irritation was palpable; his arrogance and fiery temper made it impossible for him to bow to anyone else’s demands.

Jack raised his hand, producing another talisman, and began to chant loudly, “Abide by thew!”

With a loud crack, Kai’s jade shattered into two pieces, ttering to the ground.

    “You!”

Witnessing the destruction of his precious treasure, Kai trembled with rage.

Jack, exuding confidence, dered, “If you refuse to follow the rules, destroying your magical weapon is only fair! Spare me your excuses!”

Kai’s face went pale as he realized he stood no chance against Jack.

In a single blow, Jack had obliterated his family heirloom, leaving him powerless to retaliate.

Defeated, Kai nced at the broken jade and gritted his teeth, muttering, “Forget it! I won’t stoop to fighting with someone so despicable!”

With that, he turned and stormed out, leaving the shattered jade behind.

The spectators were taken aback, their expressions shifting dramatically. Jack was an enigma; those who had once exuded confidence now hesitated.

Travis, frowning, leaned in to whisper to Matthew.

Momentster, Travis stood up, waving his hands in frustration. “This banquet is incredibly dull; I’m leaving.”

Matthew quickly followed suit, and together they began to exit the gathering.

Suddenly, four strong men sprang from both sides, blocking their path.

Travis red, “What do you think you’re doing?”

“Mr. Lane, since you’re present at this banquet, why would you leave before it’s over?”

Jack stepped forward with a smile, “This banquet is not a ce forings and goings at your leisure. If you choose to leave now, it would be a breach of the rules.”

Travis scoffed, “I’m not part of your metaphysics circle. Who you choose as your leader is irrelevant to me!”

Jack smirked, “You can leave if you wish, but you’ll have to show respect by leaving a valuable item behind!”
