The Amazing son in law Chapter 236

Later that evening, Jasmine made her way to pick up Charlie.

As she approached him, Jasmine respectfully sped her hands and said, “Mr. Wade, I truly apologize for the trouble.”

Charlie smiled gently in response, saying, “Miss Moore, there’s no need to be so formal.”

Noticing a sparkling diamond ne around Jasmine’s neck, Charlie curiously inquired, “Isn’t that the diamond ne you lost before?”

Jasmine eagerly nodded and replied, “Yes, it is. This ne was a gift from my mother before she passed away, and it means more to me than anything else. I am incredibly grateful to you, Mr. Wade, because without your help, I would never have gotten it back.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Charlie smiled back, saying, “Jasmine, you have a special connection to that ne. Even if I hadn’t intervened, it would have eventually found its way back to you.”

Understanding that Charlie was being modest, Jasmine quickly responded, “Mr. Wade, it’s rare to see someone as skilled as you remain so humble and low-profile.”

Charlie chuckled and said, “Jasmine, there’s no need for ttery! Let’s get down to business.”

Jasmine nodded enthusiastically and said, “Alright, Mr. Wade. Please, step into the car!”

Charlie entered Jasmine’s Rolls-Royce, and the driver swiftly transported them to the Moore family mansion in Aurous Hill.

The mansion was a magnificent structure, beautifully renovated and surrounded by a stunning garden. It exuded ssical beauty, reflecting the owner’s refined taste.

The property was expansive, clearly indicating the immense wealth of the Moore family, especially in a ce like Aurous Hill.

As Charlie followed Jasmine through the courtyard, he entered the living room to find a well-dressed young man in a suit, apanied by an older gentleman and a younger girl.

    “Sister, who is this?”

The handsome young man eyed Charlie with suspicion.

“This is Mr. Wade,” Jasmine said, maintaining herposure despite her unease. “Charlie, meet my cousin, Reuben.”

“Hello,” Charlie greeted with a nod.

    “Mr. Wade?”

Reuben scrutinized Charlie from head to toe, then retorted sarcastically, “Sister, did you really invite this so-called master who looks younger than me to examine Grandpa? Isn’t that a bit absurd?”

Charlie felt a flicker of annoyance at Reuben’s words.

On their way to the mansion, Jasmine had informed Charlie that her grandfather was gravely ill, with his life hanging by a thread.

The younger members of the Moore family had summoned many renowned doctors and experts in hopes of saving the old man, with the ulterior motive of securingrger shares of the family inheritance.

This was particrly true for Reuben.

Sadly, none of the famed doctors had been able to assist the elderly man.

Reuben cast a hostile re at Jasmine.<fnb01b> Read full story at fin?novel</fnb01b>

In response, Jasmine quickly defended Charlie, saying, “Brother, Mr. Wade is an exceptionally skilled master. He helped me turn my luck around when I was in a difficult situation. He truly excels in Feng Shui and metaphysics.”

Reuben scoffed, “Sister, what we need to hire now is a doctor, not just a Feng Shui master. Does this young man even know what he’s doing?”
