“Mr. Quinton, there’s a Mr. Grant from the Aurous Hill Convention and Exhibition Center who is insisting on touching the Aston Martin ONE-77. There’s amotion happening right now. What should I do?”
Graham was taken aback, responding immediately with frustration, “I bought that car for Mr. Wade! It doesn’t matter who wants to touch it. No one besides Mr. Wade is permitted toy a hand on it! If anyone tries, I want the security to break his hand!”
Luke quickly interjected, “Mr. Quinton, the Aurous Hill Convention and Exhibition Center is owned by the Grant family. Wouldn’t that be a bit excessive?”
“So what?! Who cares about the Grant family!” Graham shouted vehemently over the phone. “They mean nothing to me! I’m giving you a direct order. If that Grant kid dares to touch the car I bought, you’d better leave Aurous Hill, and pray I never see you again!”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Just the day before, Graham had received two magical pills from Charlie and was so thrilled that he couldn’t sleep a wink. Now, someone was actually trying to touch the car he purchased for Mr. Wade?
There was noparison between the Grant family and the Quinton family. Besides, with Charlie backing him, Graham felt no fear of Jason Grant.
Luke’s heart began to race at Graham’smand. Looking up, he saw Jason had already arrived with several security guards, and was currently choking the guard assigned to protect the car.
Jason proimed arrogantly, “If you don’t step aside, I’ll have my men deal with you right now!”
Luke trembled with anger. How could Jason treat the security guards—who were just doing their jobs—this way? Moreover, these guards were highly trained, far superior to those at the exhibition hall.
Furthermore, having received explicit instructions from Graham, Luke feared repercussions if things escted. He pointed at Jason andmanded, “Take him down! I want you to beat him up. Even if you have to kill him, Mr. Quinton will definitely have your back.”
The security guards, hired by Graham, could no longer tolerate Jason’s outrageous behavior. Eager to teach him a lesson, one of the guards shouted, “Let’s show this guy what happens today!”
With that, the guard charged at Jason andnded a solid punch to his face, eximing, “I’ve wanted to hit you for a long time, you jerk!”
Jason was stunned that the security guard dared to strike him. He yelled in anger, “I’m from the Grant family, and this is my venue! You actually had the nerve to hit me?!”
“Screw you!” shouted the guard, a veteran, as he kicked Jason hard in the stomach.
After the kick, Jason fell to the ground, clutching his stomach and rolling in pain.
The security guards at the convention center were no match for those hired by Graham. Before long, they were all sprawled on the ground after being decisively beaten.
Jessica rushed to Jason’s side, fuming at the security guards. “Are you looking for trouble? You dared to hit Mr. Grant?! Do you know who the Grant family is? They won’t let this go!”
Luke responded coolly, “The Grant family? Let me rify something for you. This car was purchased by the head of the Quinton family! He considers the Grant family insignificant and has challenged Mr. Grant to face him if he dares.”
“The Quinton family…” Jason was left speechless upon hearing Luke’s words.
In pain yet frightened, Jason realized the gravity of the situation.
The Quinton family was one of the most influential and wealthiest families in Aurous Hill, second only to the Moore family!<fnea53> For more chapters visit find[?]ovel</fnea53>
Moreover, the Quinton family had always maintained a strong rtionship with the Moore family.
Contrarily, the Grant family only owned this exhibition center. The disparity between the two families was immense. How could he even think of provoking the Quinton family?
Ignoring his pain, Jason managed to apologize, “I’m sorry! I truly am! I didn’t realize this car belonged to the Quinton family. I’m really sorry…”
