The Amazing son in law Chapter 323

ire was filled with embarrassment after receiving a stern warning from her mother.<fndfb1> This update is avable on find~novel</fndfb1>

She couldn’t shake off the feeling that Charlie was taking an enormous risk by offering Feng Shui advice to such influential and wealthy individuals. It felt like he was bncing on a tightrope stretched over the Grand Canyon—a perilous endeavor, to say the least.

Throughout history, many Feng Shui and metaphysics masters had deceived celebrities, and their fates had been grim. This made ire anxious about the potential consequences of Charlie’s actions.

As ine noticed ire’s troubled expression, she realized she had effectively swayed her daughter’s opinion. Seizing the moment, she pressed on, saying, “You should file for divorce from Charlie as soon as your father gets out of the hospital! If these rich and powerful people discover that Charlie has been misleading them, what will happen to our family?”

ine continued with urgency, “Didn’t you hear about Jason Grant? He didn’t even get a chance to defend himself before he was thrown out the window! What do you think they’ll do to Charlie if they learn he’s been lying to them?”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

ire, clearly upset, responded, “Mom, how can you say that? Charlie just brought in a brilliant doctor to help Dad. Aren’t you trying to create division between us?”

“Why shouldn’t I say it?” ine shot back in frustration. “His situation is like gambling on financial insurance. A storm could hit at any moment! When it does, Charlie will be left with nothing—absolutely nothing!”

ire stood firm, replying, “No matter what you say, I will never divorce Charlie!”

Despite her deration, ire couldn’t shake the worry gnawing at her. It wasn’t that she feared Charlie would bring harm to her or the Wilson family; rather, she was concerned about the dangers he might face ahead.

As these thoughts swirled in her mind, she resolved to talk to Charlie about stopping his Feng Shui consultations to prevent any additional trouble for himself.

ine, overhearing ire’s intentions, exploded in anger, “You are seriously frustrating me!”

Just then, Charlie entered the room after seeing everyone else off.

ine was about to continue her tirade when the attending doctor approached with an update.

“I need one of you to register andplete the hospitalization procedures soon. After that, we can begin the follow-up rehabilitation and nursing care,” the doctor exined.

“Got it!” ire replied, ncing at Charlie. “Charlie, do you still have that one hundred and eighty thousand dor cheque that Doris refunded to you?”

“Yes,” Charlie confirmed. “I’ll handle the hospital bills and registration right now.”

With that, Charlie turned and exited the ward again.

ine’s ears perked up at the mention of the cheque. Eagerly, she asked, “Cheque? What cheque are you talking about? Where did ite from?”

ire quickly exined, “Miss Doris from Emgrand Group gave me the cheque as a refund for the office rent I paid. They’re letting me use the office space in the Bright Star Building for free.”

ine was ecstatic, eximing, “Is that true? Wow! We just saved one hundred and eighty thousand dors!”

Then, she turned to the doctor, asking urgently, “Doctor, how much will the hospitalization fees be?”

The attending doctor replied, “Since the patient has already improved, the only charge will be for rehabilitation and nursing care, approximately two thousand dors per day. A deposit of twenty thousand dors will be required.”

ine quickly calcted in her head. With the cheque for one hundred and eighty thousand dors, if she paid the twenty thousand dor deposit, she would still have one hundred and sixty thousand dors left!

Excited by the prospect, she announced to ire, “I’ll go with Charlie to handle the registration and payment!”

With that, she dashed out of the ward to catch up with him.

As Charlie walked toward the registration counter, he suddenly heard hurried footsteps behind him. Turning around, he found his mother-inw, ine, right on his heels.

Gasping for breath, ine said, “Charlie, give me the cheque! I’ll take care of the hospitalization fees!”

Unaware of her intentions to pocket the remaining one hundred and sixty thousand dors, Charlie replied, “Mom, you should just go back to the ward and stay with Dad. I’ll handle the bill.”

ine shot him an exasperated re and retorted, “Why are you arguing with me? I said I’ll settle the bill! Hand over the cheque now! You can go back and help ire!”
