The Amazing son in law Chapter 431

While Charlie, his wife, and Loreen enjoyed a rxing soak in the hot spring pool, Marcus—his forehead marked with the words “pathetic jerk”—and his stic girlfriend, who now sported a crooked nose, were making their way back to the city in a rundown van.

Inside the van, Marcus anxiously kept his bloodied forehead covered, worried that the driver might catch a glimpse of the humiliating inscription.

The pair had made a stop on their way out of the Champs Elys Spa Resort, where they struck a deal with the van driver to get home for two hundred dors. At that moment, Marcus was desperate to reach home quickly—he wanted no more trouble!

However, the driver noticed the blood trickling from Marcus’s forehead in the rearview mirror.

After a moment of scrutiny, he couldn’t help but inquire, “Young man, are you injured?”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Marcus shot back angrily, “This is none of your business! Just drive safely and stop asking ridiculous questions!”

The driver, feeling a bit miffed, responded, “Do you really think I care about you? I’m only asking because it looks like your forehead is bleeding all over my seats!”

Marcus couldn’t hold back his rage at the driver’sment. “Come on! Your van is only worth about forty to fifty thousand dors at best! Are you genuinely worried that I’ll stain your pathetic vehicle? That’s absurd!”

It seemed that Marcus had a habit of calling others “pathetic jerks,” a phrase he couldn’t seem to shake—even with the words literally etched on his forehead. This fact highlighted the saying that while reforming a country might be feasible, changing a person’s nature was nearly impossible!

The van driver, taken aback by being insulted by a fare, lost his temper and eximed, “Are you really that uneducated? How can you speak like that?”<fne7cf> Read full story at Find_Novel(.</fne7cf>

Feeling exasperated, Marcus retorted, “Damn it! Admit it—you’re just a pathetic jerk! Who do you think you are, talking to me like this? I could have someone take you out with a single phone call! No one would even bother to call about someone as insignificant as you!”

The driver was furious after hearing Marcus’s threats. Just then, he spotted a traffic police car at an intersection and swiftly drove towards it. Stepping out, he said, “Officer, there’s a guy hitching a ride in my van who just threatened my life. I think he might be armed—this is a serious risk to my safety!”

Upon hearing this, the police officers quickly exited their vehicle and surrounded the van. They opened the back door andmanded, “Put your hands up and step out of the van immediately!”

In that moment, Marcus realized he was in deep trouble.

    This was downtown!

If he had to raise his hands as instructed, there would be no hiding the words “pathetic jerk” on his forehead!

Determined not to exit the van, he stated defiantly, “What’s the deal? I’m just hitching a ride home. How am I bothering you? Get the van driver to take me home right now, or I’ll make sure he pays for this!”

The police officers were not fooled by Marcus’s bravado. They could see him covering his forehead and the blood that continued to seep from it. To them, it looked like he had just been involved in a violent altercation—likely a person with a criminal record. They thought this could be their chance to catch a fugitive!

Exchanging nces, one officer took out his pepper spray and warned, “This is your final warning. Raise your hands and step out of the van for inspection. Otherwise, we’ll have to take legal action!”

Annoyed, Marcus shouted, “Damn it! I know your captain, Officer Wiles! He’s a good friend of my dad’s. If you don’t believe me, call him and ask about Marcus, the son of the Lloyd Group owner!”

The police officer scoffed, “The son of the Lloyd Group? Really? You’re hitching a ride in a van and expect me to believe you’re from the Lloyd Group? You’re saying they can’t even afford to give you a car?”

Marcus despised being doubted, especially about his identity and status. The officers’ mockery infuriated him even more, and he shouted, “You pathetic jerks! How dare you question who I am? I could call your captain right now if I wanted!”<h3 ss="has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
