Linda was utterly heartbroken.
She never imagined that Charlie, with his seemingly harmless and innocent demeanor, could turn out to be so heartless and cruel!
He had shattered all ten of her fingers and insisted that they y rock-paper-scissors together. With her broken fingers, she could only manage to form the shape of paper, which meant she was doomed to lose every time!
Charlie looked at her nkly and dered, “Alright, let’s get started.”
He shook his hand while mumbling, “Rock, paper, scissors!”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
As soon as he finished speaking, he swiftly formed a scissors hand.
Linda found it impossible to control her fingers. She shot Charlie a sorrowful re.
Charlie smirked slightly and said, “Alright, scissors beat paper. I win. You owe me ten million.”
“Let’s move on to the second round.”
“Rock, paper, scissors!”
“Oh, I won again! Now you owe me twenty million.”
“Let’s go for a third round!”
“Rock, paper, scissors!”
“Hey, why do you keep showing paper? You’re quite amusing! Now you owe me thirty million.”
Charlie was clearly enjoying the game. Before long, he had won ten rounds, racking up a total of one hundred million.
“Time to settle the score.”
Linda’s face twisted in horror. “Master Wade, I don’t have that kind of money…”
Charlie waved his hand dismissively and replied, “I’m not concerned. Call your family, your children, your inws, and your husband for assistance. Tell them to bring every penny from your ounts, as well as any properties that can be mortgaged to pay off your debt. If you fall short by even a penny, I’ll send you and every family member over eighteen to work in the ck coal mine to repay your debts at a meager sry of two thousand dors each per month. You’ll only be free when the hundred million is paid off.”
He then turned to Albert and asked, “Do you know anyone who owns coal mines?”<fn86a1> ???? ????s? ???????s ?? find?novel</fn86a1>
“Yes,” Albert replied, “I have some acquaintances who fled here and went to Erith. They own several coal mines there; you can send them to work!”
“Excellent,” Charlie nodded and turned back to Linda. “Now, be honest, how many family members do you have?”
Linda knelt on the ground, wailing and pleading, “Please, Master Wade! My children are exceptional students who graduated from prestigious universities. They are professionals in their fields; don’t ruin their lives!”
“Oh, your children graduated from esteemed universities, huh? What about the families you’ve devastated? Are there meals on the tables for their children? Can their kids attend school? Are they even alive? Why didn’t you think about them when you destroyed their lives?”
Linda trembled in sheer terror, herplexion as pale as a ghost.
Indeed, she had harmed many individuals, and countless families had been shattered by her actions, but she had never cared.
All she ever wanted was to make money, dismissing the misfortunes of others as mere coteral damage.
Now, the consequences of her actions were catching up to her.
Charlie intended to send her beloved children, whom she had worked so hard to provide for, to the coal mine asborers!
There was no better punishment than dismantling her deceitful schemes!
