“What?!” Hannah eximed in shock, her voice rising in panic. “But I just donated fifteen million like you asked…”<fnd99f> Follow current nov?ls on ?ovelFind</fnd99f>

“And? What’s your point?” Charlie replied dismissively. “You orchestrated this entire scam, so do you really think it’s fair for Linda to take the fall alone?”

“Exactly!” Linda interjected angrily. “She’s the real mastermind behind this!”

With a sly grin, Charlie turned to Hannah. “Look, even your partner in crime agrees you’re at fault. You and your friend here are heading to the coal mine, where you’ll be responsible for contributing to the Hope Foundation.”

He then gestured to a woman named Gianna, sternlymanding, “You too. All three of you need to prepare for a stint in the coal mine to make amends.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Gianna was distraught. She shook her head vigorously, pounded her fists on the ground, and cried out, “No, please! I’m innocent! Linda dragged me into this mahjong game, that’s it! I had no idea about any n; I swear I don’t know anything!”

Charlie’s expression remained cold. “Do you really think I’d fall for that? Keep quiet when I’m being civil, and maybe I’ll spare your family. But if I hear even a peep from you, just know you’ll end up like Linda, and your entire family will join you in the coal mine!”

Gianna quickly fell silent, trembling in fear. Despite her terror, she didn’t utter another word.

Charlie then directed Albert, “Albert, take a headcount of all these troublemakers, including Hudson, and send them off to work in the coal mine. They’ll endure the worst living conditions and receive meager meals, earning just two thousand dors a month while working year-round!”

He raised his voice, emphasizing, “If they prove themselves by working hard and putting in extra hours, consider giving them a small pay raise. But if they’rezy and ck off, their pay will be adjusted downwards. Regardless, they must collectively earn three hundred thousand dors to donate to the Hope Foundation before they can leave.”

At two thousand a month, that would mean over a decade just to reach that donation goal. Even if their pay was bumped to three thousand a month, it would still take at least nine years to umte the necessary amount.

Charlie believed that since these individuals were part of the gambling racket, they owed it to the families devastated by gambling and the children who suffered due to their parents’ habits. Thus, working in the coal mine and donating their wages was the most fitting punishment.

Albert nodded, responding, “Understood, Master Wade. I’ll arrange for a bus immediately to transport them!”

Charlie added, “Before they board the bus, make sure to break their legs to prevent any escape attempts.”

“Of course, Master Wade. I’ll take care of it right here, then they’ll be shackled with iron chains throughout their time at the coal mine to ensure they can’t run away!”

“Good,” Charlie said, satisfied with Albert’s response.

Desperate, Hannah cried out, “Charlie, you can’t imprison me at the coal mine forever! I have a husband and children to care for, not to mention my mother-inw!”

Charlie replied tly, “It’s simple. You’ll also be subjected to the same rules. You can go free once you’ve helped raise the three hundred thousand dor donation.”

Hannah wailed, “No, Charlie, please don’t do this! We’re family!”

“Family? Why didn’t you consider that when you deceived my mother-inw? Where was your sense of family then?”

    “Exactly!”

ine, who had remained silent until now, shouted in anger, “Hannah Wilson, you heartless con artist! You tried to scam me, and now you want to talk about family?”

Hannah fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face as she pleaded, “ine, I’m truly sorry. I know I’ve wronged you, but I’m still your sister-inw. Please, forgive me!”

ine kicked her aside, fuming, “You conned me out of two million dors, then set your sights on my home and vi! You tried to drive us into a corner! You’re nothing but a cruel, greedy person!”

Suddenly, an idea struck ine. She pped her thigh and shouted, “Oh no, my money!”
