    Charlie smiled with an air of indifference and replied, “You don’t have to be so formal with me. If there’s something on your mind, just say it.”


    Graham nodded, saying, “Alright, Mr. Wade. I’ll get straight to the point. Today, Donald from the Webb family in Sudbury held a banquet at The Heaven Springs. He invited several influential figures from Aurous Hill, including Mr. White, Don Albert, and myself. During the dinner, he sought our assistance with some issues, which raised our suspicions. We thought it best to report this to you.”


    Upon hearing that the Webb family had hosted a banquet, Charlie inquired, “What prompted the Webb family to reach out to you?”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">


    Graham borated, “Kian from the Webb family recently faced a grave situation. The family is desperately searching for clues to identify the person responsible for his condition. I just spoke to Aurora, and she has confessed to everything that transpired. I fear that the Webb family mighte looking for you…”


    Charlie smiled again, saying, “Yes, I am indeed the reason Kian is in that state. The main reason I took action was due to his uneptable behavior and attitude. He believes it’s eptable to pursue rtionships with girls, but I find it utterly unforgivable for him to toy with their emotions and lead them to harm themselves. I feltpelled to teach him a lesson to prevent him from hurting others in the future.”


    Graham was taken aback by this revtion.


    His surprise wasn’t at Charlie’s actions, but rather at his candid admission.


    To Graham, it seemed that Charlie viewed turning the Webb family’s second son into aughingstock as trivial as squashing an ant. He couldn’t fathom how Charlie was so unbothered by the potential repercussions of his actions.


    Graham wondered how Charlie could possess such confidence and remain unperturbed when facing the formidable Webb family.

    Once he regained hisposure, Graham quickly assured him, “Mr. Wade, don’t worry. The three of us will keep this matter confidential. Even if the Webb family learns that you’re involved and seeks retribution, we won’t aid them at all!”


    Charlie smiled and replied, “There’s no need for you to be anxious. They can try to retaliate if they wish. I am Charlie Wade, and I fear nothing.”


    He continued, “In fact, you could even tell them that I was responsible for Kian’s situation. If Donald has any doubts or wants to confront me, he’s wee to do so.”


    Graham quickly cautioned, “Mr. Wade, I understand that you don’t see the Webb family as a threat. However, they hold significant power in the South Region. If you choose to make them your enemies, it could lead to seriousplications.”


    Graham suggested, “I advise you to keep a low profile and ensure the Webb family remains unaware of the truth behind this incident. Otherwise, you might find yourself facing considerable trouble.”


    Charlie smiled once more, saying, “Mr. Quinton, I appreciate your concern, but there’s no need to worry excessively. Every problem has a solution, and we will tackle it when the timees.”


    “Alright, then.” Graham continued, “By the way, Mr. Wade, there’s another reason the Webb family decided to host this banquet tonight.”


    Curious, Charlie asked, “What’s the second reason?”


    Graham responded, “The Webb family appears eager to arrange a marriage between Sean and Jasmine. However, ording to Donald, Jasmine has openly dered her affection for another man. They want us to help them uncover the identity of the man she loves…”


    At this point, Graham tentatively asked, “Mr. Wade, are you the one Miss Moore is in love with?”


    Charlie paused for a moment before responding, “You shouldn’t say such things without proof. After all, I’m a married man. If rumors like that spread, it could harm the girl’s reputation.”


    Graham quickly apologized, “Yes, Mr. Wade. I see your point and will refrain from making such remarks in the future!”
