Sean felt a surge of anger as mockery andughter surrounded him. He clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles cracked repeatedly!
With a fierce re aimed at Charlie, he shouted, “Dude, don’t act like I didn’t give you a chance to change! You brought this on yourself! My family will not let you off the hook; you’ll never see the sun rise tomorrow!”
Before Charlie could respond, Jasmine interjected loudly, “Sean Webb, how dare you!”
Sean retorted coldly, “Why shouldn’t I? Did you think I’d allow my family to be insulted in a rundown ce like Aurous Hill? Let me make it clear: everyone in Aurous Hill must bow down to the illustrious Webb family!”
Jasmine’s expression darkened with dismay as she demanded, “Sean, you’re not wee here. Please leave!”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
“What? You want to kick me out?!” Sean eximed in shock, his scorn evident. “You’re throwing me out because of this deadbeat loser?!”
“Yes! I’ll repeat myself—please get out!” Jasmine insisted firmly.<fnf7bf> Get full chapters from F?nd-Novel</fnf7bf>
At that moment, Reuben, Jasmine’s cousin, suddenly appeared and quickly tried to mediate, “Hey, Mr. Webb, Jasmine, let’s all calm down. What’s this argument about?”
Seeing Reuben, Sean blurted out, “Reuben, thank goodness you’re here! Your cousin is trying to kick me out because of this lowly loser!”
Reuben nced awkwardly at Charlie, feeling ufortable. Though he privately shared Sean’s disdain for Charlie’s presence, he knew his grandfather held Charlie in high regard, so he refrained from showing any disrespect.
Perceiving the tension between Charlie and Sean, he quickly smiled and suggested, “Hey, this is just a misunderstanding. Let’s all take a moment to cool off.”
He turned to Charlie and said, “Master Wade, allow me to introduce Sean Webb, the eldest son and grandson of the Webb family from Erith.”
Then, he turned to Sean, exining, “Mr. Webb, this is Charlie Wade. Master Wade has previously saved my grandfather’s life.”
Sean scoffed in disdain, “Master? Don’t make meugh! To me, he’s just a scam artist! He hurt my dog and insulted my family, and I won’t let him off the hook, even if God himself were to apologize for him!”
Before Sean could act on his words, Lord Moore and Donald approached from the house.
Having heard themotion, Lord Moore walked over with a frown of annoyance and asked, “Jasmine, Reuben, what’s going on here?”
As soon as Sean heard Lord Moore’s voice, he quickly replied, “Grandpa Moore, it’s great to see you! Jasmine is trying to kick me out because of Charlie Wade! He insulted my family, and this is aplete humiliation for us!”
Before he could finish, Lord Moore strode forward, took Charlie’s hands in his own, and said with utmost respect, “Master Wade, wee!”
Both Sean and Donald stood there, stunned by the absurdity of the situation!
Why was the 80-year-old Lord Moore showing such reverence to a young man in shabby clothes?!
Charlie smiled gently at Lord Moore and asked, “Mr. Moore, you look rather pale and fatigued—are you feeling alrighttely?”
Lord Moore gasped in surprise, “Oh, Master Wade, you truly have a keen insight! Yes, to be honest, the changing weather has given me a mild cold, and with my age, I’ve been feeling quite tired and weak.”
Charlie nodded. “That’s because your core is currently weak. The medicine I gave youst time addressed the hidden ailments umted in your body over the years. While it resolved those issues, it didn’t significantly boost your physical health.”
Lord Moore quickly bowed and expressed, “Even so, I’m incredibly grateful for your help, Master Wade! Without you, I doubt I’d even be here for this birthday banquet today!”
Charlie smiled warmly and said, “I have a birthday gift for you today, which I believe will be beneficial for your current condition.”
Lord Moore was taken aback, trembling with excitement at the thought of a gift that could aid his health!
A birthday gift? One that would actually help him?!<h3 ss="has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
