The Amazing son in law Chapter 688

At Lord Moore’s birthday banquet, Charlie was eagerly anticipating the official start of the festivities. He was keen to propose a toast in honor of Lord Moore, as he had ns to visit Anthony’s Serene Medical Clinic to assess the situation there.

Seated around the dinner table were Zeke, Graham, Aurora, Don Albert, Liam, and even Doris, all of whom gazed at Charlie with newfound admiration and respect.

The remarkable results of the Rejuvenating Pill were truly astounding.

Despite their awe, none of them had mentioned the Rejuvenating Pill directly to Charlie at that moment.

Although Charlie still possessed about twenty Rejuvenating Pills, he wasn’t prepared to distribute them as gifts just yet.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Considering that Zeke, Graham, and Don Albert were not quite elderly, Charlie felt it unnecessary for them to take the Rejuvenating Pill at this time.

He believed that if they continued to work diligently and loyally alongside him, he would eventually reward each of them with a Rejuvenating Pill when the moment was right.

Charlie then turned his attention to Liam, who sat at the table. After not seeing him for a few days, he couldn’t help but ask, “How is Weaver Pharmaceuticals doing these days?”

Liam responded promptly and respectfully, “Master Wade, the progress at Weaver Pharmaceuticals is going well. I’m also coordinating with some seasoned Chinese medicine practitioners and pharmacists to explore ancient Chinese prescriptions. My goal is to integrate some of this traditional medicine into Western practices.”

As he spoke, a look of regret crossed Liam’s face. “Our Chinese ancestors left behind a treasure trove of ancient prescriptions. Unfortunately, many have been lost or misappropriated by foreign pharmaceuticalpanies without any recognition of their origins. It’s a real shame, and I’m determined to do my part to introduce ancient Chinese medicine into the pharmaceutical market.”

Charlie nodded in agreement, saying, “I think that’s a fantastic initiative. Many valuable contributions from our ancestors have unfortunately been imed bypanies in Japan and Korea. If we don’t take action, these ancient prescriptions may just be bragging rights for those nations.”

This brought to Charlie’s mind Kobayashi Pharmaceuticals in Japan.

He had previously extracted over ten billion dors from them, leaving thepany vulnerable and fragile. Yet, he had also left them with a hidden threat.

Jiro, the second son of the Kobayashi family, mistakenly believed his elder brother was dead. Little did he know that Ichiro was alive and currently working at Don Albert’s dog farm, feeding dogs and handling waste.

If Kobayashi Pharmaceuticals were to falter, Charlie would be fine with that. However, if they began to recover, he would arrange for Ichiro to return to Japan to reim control of thepany from Jiro.

Reflecting on this, Charlie inquired about Kobayashi Pharmaceuticals, asking Liam, “How are they faring in Japan these days?”

Liam replied, “Kobayashi Pharmaceuticals faced some challenges recently, having lost a significant amount of capital. This has created some difficulties in their cash flow. However, with their range of popr drugs, I believe they will stabilize and regain their footing soon.”

    Charlie nodded thoughtfully.

Once Kobayashi Pharmaceuticals was back on track, he would send Ichiro back to Japan to attempt to reim thepany from Jiro, effectively making it his own.

With this n in mind, Charlie instructed Liam, “Please keep me updated on any developments or changes at Kobayashi Pharmaceuticals.”<fn8233> Readplete version only at find{n}ovel</fn8233>

“Of course, Master Wade,” Liam responded respectfully. “I will keep a close eye on it.”

At that moment, Charlie asked, “By the way, how are your father and brother managing on Mount Golim?”

Liam smiled slightly as he replied, “Don Albert and I are taking turns sending people to monitor them on Mount Golim. I’ve heard that the temperature has dropped significantly, and a heavy snowfall has covered the mountain. Consequently, they’re struggling to harvest enough ginseng and will likely face shortages of food and clothing for a while.”

Charlie nodded, saying, “As long as they stay alive, the rest doesn’t matter.”

Liam quickly assured him, “Master Wade, you need not worry. Despite my deep-seated animosity towards them, they are still my family. I will ensure they don’t perish, so they can continue to reflect on their actions while they dig for ginseng on Mount Golim for the rest of their lives!”
