As Charlie stepped into Heaven Springs, he was greeted by a shocking sight: all the waitresses and security guards were sprawled on the floor, unconscious.
Charlie rushed over to investigate, quickly realizing they had been knocked out. Large bruises marred their necks, indicating they had been violently attacked.
“Hmm, it seems they were overpowered,” Charlie frowned, the grim truth dawning on him.
Without wasting any time, he gathered his resolve and ascended the stairs!
In the suite above, Don Albert was on the brink of death, his eyes gradually zing over.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Across the room, Mr. Lloyd and Marcus exchanged knowing looks.
With a dagger drawn from his belt, Marcus coldly addressed Jacob, who was trembling in the corner, “Since Jones has Don Albert subdued, I’ll take care of this pathetic Jacob!”
“Dad, hold him down! I want to etch ‘pathetic jerk’s father-inw’ into his forehead!”
Mr. Lloyd grinned wickedly, “Absolutely! Carve it deep, right through to the skull!”
Jacob, gripped by fear, felt as if his very soul was escaping. “I’m innocent! Why are you doing this to me?!”
“Innocent?!” Marcus closed in on Jacob, pping him hard across the face.
“You old fool! How can you im innocence when your son-inw has humiliated me? Not only will I carve those words on your forehead, but I will also end your life right in front of him!”
The de glinted ominously as Jacob’s eyes filled with terror, tears streaming down his face.
In desperation, he cried out, “Don Albert, please help!”
Meanwhile, Don Albert was fading fast, nearly unconscious from ack of oxygen. Hearing Jacob’s plea, he summoned his remaining strength to whisper, “Mr. Wilson, I’m truly sorry for dragging you into this. I’ll soon be gone!”
Jones, with a chilling smile, taunted, “Don Albert, I’m amazed you’re still holding on, but I suggest you let go. It will only prolong your suffering!”
Despite his face turning ck and purple, Don Albert hoarsely shouted, “I won’t die easily! If I do, I’lle back to haunt you!”
“Oh?” Jones chuckled as if he had heard a joke, “I’ll be waiting for you to find me tonight as a ghost, and then I’ll make sure to kill you again!”
Don Albert managed a weak smile, saying, “Huh, Master Wade will avenge me! I’ll slowly walk towards the light and wait for you to join me!”
“You’re quite the chatterbox!” Jones scoffed. “Your Master Wade is nothing but garbage to me!”
Continuing his taunts, he added, “But do take your time walking towards the light; I’ll be sending Master Wade to keep youpany soon! That way, you won’t be lonely on your journey to hell!”
“You?!” Don Albert let out a sinisterugh, “You have no idea how powerful Master Wade is. You’re beneath contempt to him!”
“Shut your mouth!” Jones snapped, his grin vanishing. “If you have anything else to say, talk to Hades!”
With that, he tightened his grip, choking Don Albert, thest of his strength and spirit fading away as he gasped for breath.
Marcus cackled, “This is exhrating! I’ll take my revenge after I finish off Don Albert and Charlie’s father-inw tonight, and then Charlie tomorrow!”
Mr. Lloyd pressed Jacob’s head down and urged, “Hurry, Marcus! I want a picture as a keepsake when you’re done!”
“You got it!” Marcus grinned, the knife’s tip poised against Jacob’s forehead.
At that moment, Don Albert’s eyes rolled backpletely; he was on the verge of death.
Then, suddenly, the door burst open!
Upon seeing the neer, Jacob screamed, “Charlie, my dear son-inw! I would have been done for if you had arrived just a momentter!”<fna45f> This content belongs to find?novel</fna45f><h3 ss="has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
