Christopher stood outside the vi, waiting anxiously. As he spotted the olddy exiting the house with his son and daughter, he quickly approached them and asked, “Mom, did you manage to get the money from them?”
Lady Wilson’s expression was dark as she replied, “Yes. Let’s go!”
Noticing his mother’s anger, Christopher swiftly pulled Harold aside and whispered, “What’s going on? Why is Grandma so upset?”
Harold nced around to ensure that his sister and grandmother were a bit further away before he confided, “Dad, Grandma is really the worst!”
Christopher couldn’t help but scold his son, “Why would you say that about your grandmother? We’re relying on her right now. What if she hears you?”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Harold shot back, “Dad! You won’t believe what Grandma told Second Uncle. She offered to give him the sofa set for free if he let her live with them in their vi! Luckily, Second Uncle brushed her off, and ine even yelled at her!”
“What?” Christopher’s face changed instantly upon hearing Harold’s words.
Incredible!
His mother had always held his brother’s family in disdain and had even kicked them out of the Wilson family vi. Now, with the Wilson family in turmoil and his brother moving into avish new home, she wanted to abandon her own family?
All she seemed to care about was moving into that extravagant vi,pletely disregarding his family’s plight!
His wife had run off with all their money, leaving the three of them without any ie. They were entirely dependent on the olddy to sell off antiques to get through these tough times. And now, at this crucial moment, she was considering abandoning them for her own happiness!
Feeling a surge of anger, Christopher thought about the situation.
Despite his frustration, he whispered to Harold, “We need to figure out how to get the antiques left by your grandfather away from your grandmother. That’s our only chance to save ourselves!”
Harold responded quickly, “Grandma has always been secretive about those antiques. I’ve asked her about them countless times, but she never gives me a straight answer. She’s really something else!”
Christopher replied coldly, “Be patient. Keep a close watch on her over the next couple of days. Follow her everywhere except when she’s in the bathroom!”
“Got it!” Harold agreed eagerly.

After the Wilson family departed, ine couldn’t contain her glee in their new vi.
Even though she was frustrated with Jacob for using Matilda’s birthday as his cell phone password and for refusing to share any of his money with her, today she felt a sense of satisfaction from scolding the olddy. It was as if she had finally released two decades’ worth of grievances, and she was filled with joy.
What delighted her even more was the fact that they were finally moving into this magnificent vi!
It was an enormous and luxurious home, something she never imagined she would inhabit. Yet here she was!
The sofa was already set up in the living room, and the furniture store would be delivering the remaining itemster in the afternoon. Soon, they would officially move into their new home!
ine, bubbling with excitement, turned to ire and said, “Your dad and I will take the biggest bedroom on the third floor!”
ire nodded and replied, “That’s fine. You two can have the third floor, and Charlie and I will stay on the second floor.”
Then, ire added, “Oh, by the way, Mom, I promised Loreen I’d give her a room in this vi when we move in. She’s been alone in a hotel in Aurous Hill for so long; it must be lonely for her.”
ine quickly asked, “Are you talking about the Loreen from the Thomas family in Eastcliff?”
“Yes,” ire confirmed. “That’s her.”
ine smiled and said, “Great! The Thomas family is wealthy and influential, parable to the Moore family. Staying close to her will be beneficial for us in the future!”
With that, ine dashed to the elevator, saying, “I’m going up to the third floor to n out my bedroom!”
Charlie then suggested to ire, “Should we check out the second floor too?”
ire nodded slightly and together they ascended the stairs to explore the second floor.
