Everyone truly relished the meal tonight, thanks to Matilda’s exceptional cooking skills.
Even though ire felt a bit repulsed by Matilda and was somewhat dissatisfied with her, she couldn’t resist the allure of Matilda’s delicious dishes.
Typically, ire was mindful of her diet, but tonight was different — she ended up eating three times her usual portion.
The same could be said for Charlie and his father-inw, Jacob. Both indulged in the feast and nearly polished off everything on the table.
After finishing his meal, Jacob discreetly slipped his hand under the table to loosen his belt, seeking relief for his overstuffed stomach.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Meanwhile, Jacob couldn’t help but think, “Matilda is truly the epitome of perfection in every way. How wonderful it would be if I could leave ine and be with Matilda instead! That would be like ascending from the depths of hell to paradise!”
Charlie shared simr thoughts, imagining how ideal it would be if his father-inw ended up with Matilda. Such a scenario would undoubtedly lead to a morefortable life for him in the future.
If Matilda were his mother-inw, he would have noints whatsoever. Her incredible cooking skills would mean he wouldn’t need to step into the kitchen ever again as a ‘step mother-inw.’
It was unfortunate that he couldn’t just wish ine away.
Later, he needed to meet with Isaac to discuss how they could facilitate ine’s release from the detention center.<fn746c> Follow current nov?ls on FindN()vel</fn746c>

Once dinner concluded, Matilda took the lead in cleaning up the dining room and kitchen.
Charlie quickly offered to help, but she politely declined, insisting that it was a woman’s role to handle the kitchen duties.
After finishing the clean-up, Matilda remarked, “It’s gettingte. Paul and I won’t impose on you any longer. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality; we truly enjoyed the meal!”
Jacob quickly responded, “Oh, Matilda! We should be the ones thanking you. Your delicious home-cooked Southaven dishes were a treat! It feels like a wish I made over twenty years ago has finallye true!”
Matilda smiled and nodded slightly. This had been her wish for many years as well, but it wouldn’t be appropriate to express that in front of ire. Instead, she simply replied, “Alright then. We won’t intrude on you and your family any further. We’ll take our leave now.”
Jacob inquired, “How did you both arrive here?”
Matilda exined, “Paul drove us today, but we parked our car outside the vimunity.”
Jacob responded, “Oh, will Paul be able to drive after drinking?”
Matilda smiled and replied, “He can’t drive, but I can! I didn’t drink much.”
“Ah, right!” Jacob chuckled, “Ipletely forgot about that. Let me walk you both to your car.”
Without waiting for Matilda’s response, Jacob opened the door and stepped outside, gesturing for her to follow.
Grateful, Matilda said, “Thank you, Jacob.”
Charlie and ire apanied them to the gate, exchanging polite farewells as Jacob escorted Matilda and her son to their vehicle.<h3 ss="has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
