The Amazing son in law Chapter 889

Upon hearing ine’s tearful usations, Gena suddenly grasped the validity of ine’s ims.

The elderly woman, Lady Wilson, continually used ine of being an unfilial daughter-inw, alleging that ine was scolding her, physically assaulting her, and preventing her from moving into the vi at Thompson First with her.

However, Lady Wilson didn’t appear to be a victim of long-term abuse. She looked physically and mentally robust, disying a resilient spirit. Moreover, she was anything but fragile when sheshed out at ine.

Thus, even if ine deserved some criticism for herck of filial piety, Lady Wilson’s animosity towards her seemed to be magnified many times over!

As Gena witnessed the olddy continue to strike ine, she sensed something was amiss.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

She quickly interjected, “Please stop hitting her, olddy. This seems a bit excessive. No matter the circumstances, there’s no need to resort to violence like this, right?”

ine felt an immense wave of relief wash over her at Gena’s words.

Having spent thest two days confined in the detention center, it was clear to her that Gena was Lady Wilson’s ally and source of support in this ce.

With Gena backing her, the olddy felt emboldened to scold, insult, and physically attack ine without fear.

However, if Gena withdrew her support or began to empathize with ine, Lady Wilson would likely cease her attacks, allowing ine to have a more peaceful existence in the detention center.

As these thoughts raced through her mind, ine continued to cry, pleading, “Sister Gena, you’re a reasonable person. You can see right through the olddy’s intentions—she wants me gone! I haven’t done anything to her! If you don’t stand up for me, I might actually be beaten to death by this cruel, heartless old woman!”

Lady Wilson, feeling impatient, eximed, “Gena, don’t be taken in by this woman’s lies. There’s no truth to her words!”

In response, Gena stated, “Is there truly no truth in what she’s saying? I may not know either of you well, but I’m not blind. It’s clear that you’re quite healthy for your age and haven’t shown any signs of injury or mistreatment. So why are you treating her this way? Why such a desire for her demise?”

Lady Wilson was taken aback for a moment.

She suddenly recognized that perhaps she had indeed gone too far.

Even though she still harbored significant resentment, her actions had begun to sway Gena’s perception. Gena was starting to see her behavior as excessive!

If Lady Wilson didn’t address this situation, Gena’s sympathy would surely tilt towards ine, creating an unfavorable oue for her.

As this realization struck her, Lady Wilson burst into tears and pointed an usatory finger at ine, menting, “Gena, don’t let this wicked woman deceive you!”

With her voice trembling with anger, Lady Wilson continued, “Do you think she’s a good person just because she hasn’t physically harmed me? Do you have any idea what she’s done to my family?”

“There was a time when my son had a wonderful girlfriend, his first love. She was the epitome of the perfect daughter-inw—beautiful, elegant, and far superior to this shameless woman!”

“My son was set to marry her right after their graduation, but just before that momentous day, something terrible happened.”

    Gena, surprised, asked, “What happened?”

Lady Wilson angrily gestured toward ine, saying, “This shameless woman took advantage of my son when he was intoxicated, sleeping with him, and then shamelessly informed his girlfriend about it! Heartbroken, my son’s girlfriend ended their rtionship and fled abroad.”

“As a result, my son was coerced into marrying this deceitful woman whom he never loved! It’s been over twenty years, and he has not experienced a single day of happiness!”

“All of my son’s misery and unfortunate marriage can be traced back to this shameless woman!”<fnaf54> Official source is find·novel</fnaf54><h3 ss="has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
