The Amazing son in law Chapter 1007

    “`html

Charlie pulled out his phone and dialed Don Albert.

As the reigning king of Aurous Hill’s underworld, Don Albert undoubtedly had more informants than anyone else in the city.

Once the call connected, Don Albert’s respectful voice greeted him. “Master Wade, how can I assist you today?”

Charlie replied firmly, “Last night, ten toddlers between the ages of two and three were kidnapped from the Aurous Hill Welfare Institute. Given your extensive connections in the underworld, I need your help to find out if there’s any chatter about buying or inquiring about children.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Many cases are solved not through the diligence of investigators or the sophistication of their tools, but because criminals often leave critical clues within their circles.

For instance, when a murder urs, the police typically start by identifying the victim and then examining the circumstances surrounding the case. Meanwhile, those in the underworld often already know who the victim’s enemies are, what conflicts he had, and who might have wanted him dead.

Simrly, if someone reports a stolen car to the police, the officers usually trace the vehicle’sst known location, check surveince footage, and interview anyone who may have seen it recently.

However, if the case were handed over to the underworld, they would quickly identify the thieves or those involved in stolen goods, pinpointing whost had the vehicle in their possession. They would have the answers almost instantly.

Crucially, the underworld operates under its own set of rules and protocols. Acquiring information isn’t as simple as just asking anyone. Even if an insider seeks information, their status and reputation must correspond to the data they want. Otherwise, they’re likely toe up empty-handed.

For example, if a low-rankingckey attempted to uncover what business Don Albert was involved in, he would be met with silence. In contrast, if Don Albert sought to know what theckey had been up to or who he associated with, the answers would be at his fingertips.

Understanding Charlie’s background in the orphanage, Don Albert recognized Charlie’s deep anger over the kidnapping of the children from the institute. With that in mind, he promptly began investigating the situation.

Just ten minutester, Don Albert had a vital lead.

A man named Ron Richie had been asking around about where to buy children in Aurous Hill while socializing with his friends.

Charlie quickly inquired, “Who is Ron Richie?”<fnf5de> Discover more novels at f?ndnovel</fnf5de>

Don Albert replied, “He’s a local known for petty crimes from a young age. His family has a history of engaging in shady activities as well. By the time he reached adulthood, he had already been involved in numerous illegal ventures, from petty thefts to armed robberies and even kidnapping. If there’s money in it, he’s done it.”

Charlie’s voice turned icy, “Are you telling me this kid and his family are running a human trafficking operation?!”

Fury surged through Charlie as he clenched his teeth. “Damn it! They’re nothing but worthless scum!”
