Just five minutester, William pulled out his phone and called 911. “Hello, I want to surrender myself,” he stated tly.
The operator on the line quickly inquired, “What happened? Why do you want to surrender?”
With no hint of emotion, William replied, “I just killed someone…”
“Where are you now? Are they dead?”
“Yes!” William nced at Juanita once more, then slowly recited her address into the phone.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
In about ten minutes, two police cars and an ambnce arrived simultaneously at Juanita’s residence.
The officers rushed into the house alongside the medical team. They detained William, cing him in handcuffs, before allowing the doctor to assess the two victims.<fn1b91> Follow current nov?ls on fin?novel</fn1b91>
The doctor quickly confirmed that both victims were deceased.
The police then escorted William to their vehicle and officially arrested him.
As he sat in the police car, William remained calm and indifferent. He understood that this marked the end of his life; whether he lived or died was of little consequence.
Despite his impassive exterior, deep down, his heart ached.
He had endured a lifetime of suffering and had loved many, yet no one had ever truly loved him back.
For a time, he believed Juanita was the only person in the world who genuinely cared for him. This belief drove him to save up for the betrothal gift for her mother, hoping to marry Juanita one day.
He even went so far as to give Jeff his savings along with the considerable debt of five hundred thousand.
But it was only when he opened Juanita’s bedroom door that he came to the painful realization that he had never been loved in his life.
There was nothing worse than feeling utterly disregarded.
At that moment, William’s heart feltpletely lifeless.

Charlie had just returned home when ire approached him eagerly, asking, “Did you visit the orphanage for the kids today? Is that why you left so early this morning?”
“How did you know?” Charlie replied, intrigued.
“It’s all over the Inte! When I saw the news, I immediately thought you must have gone out for that,” she exined.
Charlie nodded. “Yes, I even gathered some friends to help look for them. Thankfully, a mysterious stranger brought them back safely. What a day it’s been.”
He said this to prevent ire from overthinking. If she found out he was involved, her opinion of him might change.
While he hadn’t directly harmed anyone today, he had certainly given orders that led to the elimination of many dangerous individuals.
Trying to gauge ire’s reaction, Charlie cautiously added, “I also watched the video today. It’s terrifying; so many lives were lost!”
“Yes, it is quite frightening, but I feel a sense of relief seeing the Beggar n members face justice. I’ve read numerous articles about their misdeeds—they’ve caused so much suffering to innocent children! They deserve everything they got,” ire said.
Charlie nodded in agreement.
He had instructed Isaac’s men to take out those involved in the Beggar n and the human traffickers for precisely that reason—they truly deserved it.
At that moment, Charlie received a notification.
“A double homicide has rocked the city! The police have apprehended the suspect on-site!”
Someone tagged all the members in the orphanage’s messaging group, announcing, “Guys, it’s William! He murdered someone and was arrested by the police! It’s all over the news!”
