This morning, ire woke up feeling like the happiest woman alive.
In stark contrast, another woman felt like the unluckiest in the world.
This woman was Hannah, currently sitting in the People’s Hospital.
She was in the gynecology department, anxiously waiting for her turn amidst a long line of patients ahead of her.
When Hannah finally entered the examination room, the doctormenced a routine checkup. However, even the seasoned physician was taken aback by Hannah’s condition and eximed, “What is happening? Why have you done this to yourself? Do you not care about your personal hygiene?”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Despite being attended to by a female doctor, Hannah’s face flushed a deep crimson from the doctor’s remarks, and she wished she could disappear from the room.
In a moment of embarrassment, she covered her face and admitted, “Doctor, honestly, it’s because of my partner. He doesn’t ce much importance on cleanliness…”
The doctor sighed heavily and replied, “You should have encouraged him to adopt better hygiene habits! Look at the state you’re in! This is quite serious, and I need to warn you!”
Panic rose within Hannah as she questioned, “Doctor, what exactly is wrong with me?”
With a somber expression, the doctor exined, “From the initial examination, I can see erythema, an infection, and vaginal erosion. I suspect there are multiple infected areas.”
The doctor sighed once more before stating, “I’ll provide you with ab test sheet. You need to get your blood and secretions tested to determine the next steps.”
Hannah, now filled with dread, asked, “Doctor, do you think it could be AIDS or something simr?”
“AIDS can’t be detected visually; it requires a blood test for confirmation.” The doctor urged, “Please hurry and get that test done. The sooner we have the results, the sooner we can address your condition.”<fn2090> For original chapters go to </fn2090>
In a flurry, Hannah grabbed theb sheet and rushed to the cashier to pay for her tests.
After having her blood drawn and secretions collected, she nervously sat on a bench, anxiously waiting for the results.
She was on edge, no longer focused on her difort; all she wanted was to find out what had happened to her and what illness she might have.
The first result toe back was the secretion test, revealing severe erosion and inmmation.
Flustered by the rming test results, Hannah hurried back to the doctor.
The doctor, however, was not surprised by the findings and stated tly, “I can see the inmmation and erosion, but I didn’t anticipate it would be this severe. You need to treat this immediately, or it could escte into a more significant issue.”
The doctor flipped through the results and asked, “Where’s the blood test result? That’s crucial!”
“It hasn’te back yet. I was too scared, so I showed you this first,” Hannah replied, trembling.
The doctor nodded and said, “Alright, let’s wait for the blood results. They will provide a clearer picture of your situation.”
With her head downcast, Hannah left the doctor’s office and returned to theb department, where she waited for her blood results toe in, which took about 20 minutes.
When the results finally arrived, there were four pages of findings.
Hannah clutched the papers tightly, her heart racing as she slowly examined the first page.
The initial report made her heart skip a beat: Neisseria gonorrhoeae test, positive!
Neisseria gonorrhoeae? Wasn’t that gonorrhea…
‘Damn that lecherous supervisor! He transmitted gonorrhea to me?! How could this happen?’ Hannah cursed inwardly.
Her hands trembled uncontrobly as she turned to the second report.
The second report read: Treponema pallidum agglutination test for syphilis, positive!
