The Amazing son in law Chapter 1165

Charlie observed as ine hobbled into the yard, crutches in hand and a hefty shoulder bag slung across her back, its bulging shape suggesting it was stuffed with numerous items. Instinctively, he sensed that his mother-inw was up to something mischievous.

ire looked at her in surprise, asking, “Mom, where have you been? I searched the entire house for you this morning!”

With a chuckle, ine replied, “Oh, I ventured to the wholesale market this morning and bought a few things!”<fnb881> Find the newest release on FindN()vel</fnb881>

ire gently scolded, “Mom, your legs need time to recover. You should be resting at home! Why are you out and about?”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

ine waved her hand dismissively, “It’s nothing to worry about! You’d think I couldn’t manage with these crutches, right? I’m getting the hang of it, and honestly, my legs don’t hurt anymore. I just get a bit tired from using the crutches, that’s all. I’m perfectly fine!”

ire pressed further, “Mom, what exactly did you buy? You seem to be struggling with thatrge bag; let me help you!”

ine giggled, “I’m alright! It’s just hats in here. Not too heavy at all.”

“Hats?” ire’s curiosity only deepened with ine’s response. “Mom, why on earth did you buy so many hats? It looks like there are at least a dozen in there!”

With a sly grin, ine set the bag down and began to unzip it.

ire and Charlie leaned in, astonished to see the bag brimming with an array of green hats.

ine pulled out several hats of different styles, each one a shade of green.

ire stammered, still in disbelief, “Mom… why so many green hats? Who would even want to wear those?”

ine burst intoughter, “Oh, these aren’t for wearing! I n to hang them all on the balcony instead! I bought about twenty green hats, and I want to disy them!”

“You watched that video of Grandma’s drama in the hospital, didn’t you? That awful Hannah cheated on Christopher, and it’s just too funny and ironic! How could I resist the chance to poke fun at them?”

“The best part is that they can see my bedroom balcony from their room, so I’ll make sure Christopher notices these twenty green hats every single day! This is going to be hrious!”

ire sighed in resignation. “Mom, why do you want to make Uncle Christopher’s life harder? He’s already going through so much.”

“Miserable? Ha!” ine retorted angrily. “Don’t you remember how arrogant he used to be and how badly he treated us? Now that I have something on him, I’m not letting him off the hook that easily! I’ll have my fun for as long as I want!”

Charlie shook his head with a resigned sigh.

He had to admit that ine had an uncanny talent for tormenting others, whether it be mentally, physically, or emotionally.

Given Christopher’s current state, seeing those green hats hanging from the balcony next door would surely add to his misery and gloom.

Charlie was certain that only ine could devise such a unique way to inflict distress on someone.

Feeling it was inappropriate, ire considered persuading her mother to abandon the idea, but ine simply ignored her and headed straight into the vi.

Once inside her room, ine wasted no time. She stepped onto the balcony and hung twenty assorted green hats on the railing, all facing the Wilson family’s vi.

The hats bobbed and swayed in the breeze, creating a rather amusing yet sinister spectacle.

Meanwhile, Christopher had kicked Hannah out of his room after their discharge from the hospital.

The reasoning was clear and straightforward: his feelings for Hannah had vanished, and he found her increasingly repugnant.

If it weren’t for Donald’s intervention, he would have ended things right there or at the very least, sent her packing.

But with Donald backing Hannah, Christopher felt he had no choice but toply.

A divorce was off the table, but sleeping in separate rooms was certainly an option.

So, he instructed Hannah to move to the bedroom on the first floor.
