    Upon hearing those four words, Charlie couldn’t help but smile yfully.


    It appears that Yamamoto Kazuki is quite full of himself.


    Yet, he seems to be mistaken about his own abilities.

    Yamamoto Kazuki sneered, “No matter how high you raise the stakes, I’ll stick with you to the end.”


    For Yamamoto, no matter how strong Charlie was, he believed it was impossible for him to be defeated by a single strike.


    So, making this bet was a no-brainer; he was confident he would win, regardless of the stakes.


    Charlie continued, “In that case, I pride myself on being fair and principled. Since you invoked the term ‘sick man of East Asia,’ as a Chinese person, I find those words particrly offensive. Therefore, let’s ce a bet: whoever loses must have these four characters engraved on their forehead.”

    Charlie replied with a grin, “It doesn’t matter if you’re ready to face death or not. We’re all here to y. I’m willing to back up my words. So, what do you say? Are you in?”


    Yamamoto Kazuki was taken aback by Charlie’s boldness. He sneered, “What could I possibly be afraid of? With all these witnesses around, the real sick man of East Asia would be the one who backs down. Let’s go!”


    Meanwhile, Nanako Ito quickly interjected, “Master, this is a trivial matter; why make it so unpleasant?”


    Turning to Charlie, she added earnestly, “Sir, I apologize for my master’s bad temper. He shouldn’t have brought up those four words in front of you and offended you. I hope you can forgive him!”


    Yamamoto Kazuki responded sharply, “Nanako! Even though you’re the eldest daughter of the Ito family, you have no right to interfere in my affairs!”


    Stung by his words, Nanako bowed apologetically, “Master, I’m sorry!”


    Ignoring her, Yamamoto Kazuki turned back to Charlie and said calmly, “Before we begin, let’s rify the terms of our wager.”


    Charlie nodded in agreement: “It’s quite simple. I’ll strike you, and as long as you can get back on your feet, I lose.”


    Yamamoto Kazuki thought to himself, “There are too many loopholes in this proposal!”


    “First, even if he injures one leg with a single strike, I can still stand on the other leg.”


    “Second, even if both legs are injured, I can use my hands to support myself and climb back up.”


    “So, no matter how this ys out, I’m guaranteed to win!”


    With that, he arrogantly dered, “If that’s the case, let’s do it your way!”


    The corners of Charlie’s mouth lifted slightly.


    Without needing any preparation, he delivered a light p to Kazuki Yamamoto.


    To the untrained eye, it might have looked like he was simply offering a friendly high-five.
