Keh Wilson felt a wave of surprise and disbelief wash over him as he sighed, “You know, Charlie is truly enigmatic. That day, he moved his mouth, and I was left utterly confused…”
This reflection led Keh Wilson to recall his unfortunate experiences in Aurous Hill.
First, Charlie had beaten him, and then he had lost his manhood. But that wasn’t even the worst part!
The real nightmare was that he had ced his trust in the elderly gentleman named Weaver and had consumed the so-called magical medicine from the Weaver family. Not only did he fail to reim his former self, but he also came dangerously close to losing everything.
Ultimately, it was Charlie’s intervention that allowed him to salvage his dignity, albeit just barely.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
As for the treatment Charlie provided to help him retain his dignity, that was a different saga filled with its own trials and tribtions.
He vividly remembered the process: one liter of urine was mixed with one liter of medicine, leaving him with asting impression of that ordeal.
With a heavy heart, he sighed again, “You two have no idea—I was in Aurous Hill, and that old body of mine, well, this kid made me suffer immensely!”
Hank clenched his teeth, responding, “So, this kid is merely the live-in son-inw of a family in Aurous Hill, yet how does he have any connection to my older brother? This is baffling!”
After Charlie’s parents were murdered many years ago when they left Eastcliff, Hank had long since forgotten the image and memories of Charlie’s father. Consequently, he struggled to grasp Charlie’s identity and could not understand how this seemingly insignificant son-inw could be invited into his eldest brother’s home for dinner with his family.
It was worth noting that, given his brother’s stature, even the nation’s most prominent inte entrepreneurs wouldn’t receive such treatment.
Keh Wilson then recalled something and eximed, “Oh! I remember—Charlie was quite the controversial figure in Aurous Hill. He managed to deceive and swindle many people, and several local dignitaries referred to him as Master Wade.”
“Master Wade?” Hank asked, frowning in confusion. “What kind of master are we talking about?”
Keh Wilson exined, “I believe it has something to do with Feng Shui. Apparently, he has a knack for it, and wealthy locals would pay him tens of millions—or even hundreds of millions—for his insights. There’s even talk of him being rewarded with vis worth over 100 million dors. I can’t fathom how he managed to pull that off.”
Carl quickly chimed in, “Second brother! I’ve got it! The eldest brother must be gravely ill and feels desperate, leading him to seek help from a doctor—and perhaps even turning to the metaphysical realm for luck!”
Hank nodded in agreement, sneering, “That sounds about right! He’s probably terrified of death and has resorted to hiring a con artist to extend his life!”
Carlughed, saying, “It’s quite amusing. Didn’t he im all his life to be an atheist, dismissing ghosts and deities? Now that he’s on the brink, he suddenly believes in Feng Shui and luck?”
“Who knows…” Hank waved dismissively. “But this kid is undeniably mysterious. I still can’tprehend how he caused us to lose that ability. Could it be he possesses some genuine metaphysical talents?”
Keh Wilson, eager to contribute, said tteringly, “Oh, my second master, I have some thoughts on this matter, though they remain unverified. If you’re interested, I can share them for your consideration.”
Hank nodded, “Please, go ahead!”<fn0418> Read full story at Find~Novel</fn0418><h3 ss="has-text-align-center" id="chapter-list"><strong></strong>
