The Amazing son in law Chapter 1571

Charlie stood there, deep in thought.

He was baffled by how the old man seemed to recognize him instantly.

Nheless, the old man had helped him tackle the immediate issue at hand, and Charlie felt it was essential to pay his respects to his parents first. Everything else could wait.

With a gesture of gratitude, he addressed the old man, saying, “Thank you, sir.”<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">

Afterward, Orrin pretended to assist Charlie, and together with Angie and Stefanie, they began their ascent up the stone steps.

No one else followed them, including the old master, who remained quietly below, watching Charlie’s retreating figure, struggling to contain his excitement.

The Wade family tomb is arranged in nine rows.

The top row is reserved for the very first ancestor of the Wade family who wasid to rest.

As you descend, each row signifies a lower generation.

Charlie’s parents were interred in the second-tost row.

This row contains twenty gravestones of uniform size, but only one has a tombstone in front of it.

Orrin halted in this row, pointed to the sole tombstone, and said to Charlie, “That’s where your parents are buried.”

Charlie nodded slightly and whispered, “In this generation of the Wade family, only my parents have passed away, right? The others are still alive?”

Orrin replied, “Yes, even though this generation is now in their 40s and 50s, they are still in the prime of their lives. If your parents hadn’t faced harm from others, they would likely be the pirs of the Wade family now.”

    Charlie sighed and moved closer.

Since the security guards and the old master remained below, they couldn’t see what was happening here. Charlie stopped feigningposure, and Orrin stepped forward first.

Reaching his parents’ grave, Charlie removed his sunsses and mask, gazing at the photos and names etched on the tombstone. Tears began to flow uncontrobly.

In his mind, it felt like a movie was ying at an elerated pace.

This movie recounted his life from the moment he could remember until he turned eight.

Then, his mind rapidly flickered through over a decade of fragmented memories.

The eighteen years without his parents felt long and arduous, filled with bitterness and pain that only he could truly grasp.

In that moment, he had countless words he wished to share with his departed parents, but when he opened his mouth, no words came out.

After a brief period of weeping in front of the tombstone, Charlie knelt down abruptly, holding flowers in both hands and cing them respectfully before the tombstone. With a choked voice, he said, “Dad, Mom, I have been an unfilial son. You were here for eighteen years before I came to visit you. All these years, I’ve been trapped and overwhelmed, unable to fulfill my duties. Please forgive me…”<fnd1eb> Get full chapters from find{n}ovel</fnd1eb>

Upon finishing, he bowed his head nine times in front of the tombstone.

They say one kneels to the heavens, to the earth, and to their parents in between, but for Charlie, the sky and the ground held no worth. Only his parents were deserving of such reverence.

At that moment, Orrin also approached, kneeling on one knee before the tombstone. With a sigh, he said, “Brother and sister-inw, I made you a promise eighteen years ago. Atst, I have kept my word and brought Charlie back. Look at him now. He is truly remarkable, just like your eldest son—a true dragon among phoenixes!”

As he spoke, he wiped away a tear and continued, “Thest time I visited, I mentioned I would soon join you. I didn’t expect Charlie to save my life. It seems I may have to keep you waiting a little longer…”

With that, Orrin was ovee with emotion.

Angie stepped forward, kneeling beside Orrin, her voice trembling as she said, “Brother, sister-inw, thank you for watching over us from above. Please bless us to survive any cmities. The kindness of the Wade family towards the Sun family will forever remain in our hearts…”

Stefanie knelt next to Charlie, silent tears streaming down her face as she cried quietly beside him.

After kneeling for a long while, Charlie wiped his tears and gently brushed the tombstone with his sleeve several times, saying, “Dad, Mom, I won’t be able to stay with you for long this time, but please don’t worry. I promise toe and visit you every year.”

With a deep sigh, he assisted Orrin, saying, “Uncle Orrin, let’s head back.”

Orrin nodded slightly and helped his wife to her feet.

Charlie put his sunsses and mask back on, slowly walking down the steps with Orrin and his family.
