When the elderly gentleman brought Orion Exeor back from overseas, he arranged for him to reside in the Wade family mansion, where he received meticulous care throughout the week.
However, after the construction of Wade Mountain, Orion Exeor found himself needing to relocate from the Wade family estate to this new residence.
The old man felt it was inappropriate for the elder master to live among the Wades’ tombs. Although Wade Mountain is well-constructed and includes designated areas for staff to live and work, the old man believed that Orion Exeor, with his stature, should not be expected to reside here.
Despite the old man’s reservations, Orion Exeor was determined to move, unwilling to be dissuaded.
He had been patiently awaiting this moment, hoping for the life gate within his hexagram to open, anticipating the arrival of Charlie, who would provide him with the Rejuvenation Pill capable of extending his life by ten years.<h3 style="background-color:DodgerBlue">
Now, after a four-year wait, the time hade to act.
He addressed the person in charge, saying, “Please convey my gratitude to your Patriarch. Exeor has made a promise, and he intends to keep it. Additionally, having been away for so long, I am feeling quite homesick, so I won’t be saying goodbye!”
With a respectful gesture towards everyone, he paused briefly to look at Charlie, his eyes filled with appreciation.
Then, turning away, he threw his head back andughed heartily, eximing, “Iugh towards the sky as I head out; I am a native of Penghao!”
With that deration, he stepped outside.
Orrin couldn’t help but sigh, remarking, “It’s truly remarkable that even centenarians possess such courage!”
Charlie, smiling nearby, replied to Orrin while the Wade family security personnel began to escort Orion Exeor away, “Uncle Orrin, let’s head back as well.”
“Absolutely!” Orrin nodded in agreement. “Let’s return, and we’lle back next time!”
Assuming the role of driver once again, Charlie opened the door for Orrin. Once Orrin settled into the back seat, Charlie climbed into the front of the Rolls-Royce.
He started the engine and, as they exited the parking lot, Orrin inquired from the back seat, “Charlie, what did the old master discuss with you earlier? He seemed to have a lot of respect for you.”
Charlie replied with a faint smile, “The old man recognized me and knew I belonged to the Wade family, so he offered me some advice.”
Orrin asked in surprise, “How could he recognize you? Does he know you?”
Charlie shook his head, “I don’t know him personally, but he is a descendant of the Exeor family, and he possesses significant skills in Feng Shui and divination. Perhaps he sensed something.”
Orrin sighed, “It makes sense now why the Wade family hesitated to let you go up the mountain; he clearly indicated you are not an outsider!”
Continuing, Orrin asked, “Is this Feng Shui technique really that powerful? Who knows when it will manifest?”
Charlie smiled, “It could be, although the wisdom of our ancestors is ancient, it is undeniably profound, containing insights we may not yet grasp. Just look at the Mayans; in their era, they managed to create an almostplete calendar, which seems astonishing to us today.”<fn7dcf> Latest content published on </fn7dcf>
Orrin nodded thoughtfully, then recalled something and asked Charlie, “Charlie, what are your ns moving forward?”
Charlie exined, “Tomorrow, I’ll be attending a friend’s grandmother’s birthday celebration. I’ll bring some gifts and, after the party, I n to return to Aurous Hill.”
Orrin quickly responded, “Why rush? It’s perfectly fine to stay a few more days before leaving!”
